The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Juliet’s (Laur Allen) allegations will cause more problems. She’s stirred up big trouble for many Genoa City residents. Of course, Cane (Daniel Goddard) is the one who’s being hit the hardest. His career and marriage are on the line thanks to Juliet’s false claims.
Lily (Christel Khalil) will soon hear the whole story and it’ll lead to a fierce confrontation with Juliet. It’s clear that Lily’s world has been shattered. Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) will certainly fear for their parents’ future. This terrible situation will take a toll on their whole family.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is also furious about the damage this is doing to Brash and Sassy. Her rage will become stronger as this case drags on. Billy (Jason Thompson) will grow increasingly concerned about Victoria, which means Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) insecurities will rev up as well.
Colin (Tristan Rogers) and Jill (Jess Walton) will join the drama club when they return to town. They’ll do whatever they can to support Cane. Meanwhile, Juliet may make some moves that infuriate Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Y&R fans know that Hilary’s involvement in all of this drove Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) away. If Juliet continues to drag her frenemy down, Hilary may not appreciate it.
In other words, there’ll be plenty of people who would like Juliet out of the picture. Soap Opera Digest recently released a blind item that suggested one soap was gearing up for a murder mystery. Days of Our Lives’ upcoming whodunit has been common knowledge for months, so it looks like this could be a new storyline featured on one of the other soaps.
Does The Young and the Restless have plans to kill off Juliet? It’s obvious that she won’t be around much longer. Juliet could leave town in shame or with a fat paycheck, but where’s the fun in that? Why not send this dispensable character out with a bang?
As we mentioned, there would be no shortage of suspects. Someone could plot Juliet’s murder or it could be an accident that someone covers up. If Victoria is accused, Billy could rush to her defense. Perhaps Phyllis could even frame Victoria and have her efforts backfire spectacularly.
If Hilary faces charges, Devon (Bryton James) could grow closer to her while trying to get her off the hook. Cane, Lily and their twin teens might be under suspicion, too. Even Jordan, Jill and Colin could be looked at. This could be a great storyline to spice things up this summer.
