The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, September 14, tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Noah (Robert Adamson) will debate the Victor (Eric Braeden) situation. It’s clear that there’s some serious tension between Nick and his father. Victor is out to get Nick, so any move he makes should be scrutinized.
It looks like Victor will move forward with a plan that leaves Noah curious. Nick will note that Victor doesn’t play by the book, but Noah won’t be sure that matters. He’ll point out that the book isn’t exactly working for them right now. They’re trying to get their expansion project off the ground, but things are obviously difficult.
Perhaps Victor will make an enticing offer that seems helpful on the surface. After talking to Nick, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Noah will mull over his grandfather’s hidden agenda. He might see value in whatever Victor’s cooking up, but he’s no fool. Noah may wonder if Victor intends to pull a fast one later.
Of course, Victor’s attempt to hurt Nick would also hurt Noah. If Vic targets this project, there’s just no way Noah will get out of this unscathed. Let’s hope Noah will proceed with caution when it comes to Victor.
Meanwhile, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will give Lily (Christel Khalil) updates on his confrontation with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). He’ll fume about Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) turning Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) into a hoodlum. Lily will hint that Cane is overreacting a bit. She’ll argue that Cane’s anger toward Victoria is clouding his judgment.
Cane will contend that Reed’s mother has nothing to do with his outburst. He’ll insist that he only cares about Mattie being pressured. Cane will feel like Lily needs to care about that as well. He’ll won’t want Mattie doing drugs or becoming her school’s next pregnant teen.
Lily probably won’t think Reed is that bad of a kid, but Cane will be adamant that they shouldn’t date. Elsewhere, Y&R spoilers say Victoria will urge Reed to face reality. She’ll suggest that Cane’s going to make it impossible for the teens to see each other ever again.
There’s a good chance Reed and Mattie will refuse to accept that. They might back off initially, but Cane’s disapproval will only push them together in the long run.
