The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 5, tease that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will feel hopeful about the future. She’ll note that she’s a free agent, but probably not for long. Hilary has a couple schemes in motion and she’s confident that at least one of them will pay off.
Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) interest in Lily (Christel Khalil) has definitely left Hilary riled. She’s doing her best to reunite Lily and Cane (Daniel Goddard) so Jordan will move on. Hilary would undoubtedly love it if Jordan came crawling back.
However, it’s obvious that Hilary is still in love with Devon (Bryton James). Her decision to sabotage Jordan’s new romance is mostly about spite. If Hilary can’t have him, she doesn’t think Lily should have him either. Deep down, Hilary realizes Devon is the man she wants to be with.
Things are complicated for Mariah (Camryn Grimes) these days, so Hilary has a good shot of pulling off her goal. The Young and the Restless fans know that Mariah is struggling with her attraction to Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary’s bond is certainly troubling as well.
Speaking of that bond, Devon will mention it to Lily in Tuesday’s Y&R episode. He’ll state that Hilary was happy they had a chance to reconnect. Lily will have to agree with Mariah on this. She’ll think Devon is letting his sneaky ex manipulate him.
Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will believe her plan is working like a charm. She’s slowly worming her way back into Billy’s (Jason Thompson) heart. Victoria will reflect on Monday’s kiss with Billy and plot her next move. She’ll tell Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) that their warm moment felt like a turning point.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will have an epic showdown. After Phyllis confesses to colluding with Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes), Billy will hit the roof. He’ll contend that Phyllis played a crucial role in Brash and Sassy’s latest crisis.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) suspects that Phyllis has more tricks up her sleeve and Billy will begin to wonder if that’s true. Phyllis will insist that she had to defend her relationship. She loves Billy too much to let him slip away, but is she driving him away instead? We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in.
