The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates for the week of June 12 tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will try to get through to Juliet (Laur Allen). He’ll confront her about the allegations in hopes of talking some sense into her. Cane will insist that it’s wrong of Juliet to come after him like this. He’ll state that she knows he didn’t harass her.
Juliet might note that Cane barely even remembers that night. He only recalls short snippets of their evening in Tokyo thanks to his drunkenness. Since Cane was so out of it, Juliet could easily argue that he offered to trade bed for a job. She can make up whatever she wants and there’s nothing Cane can do about it.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Neil (Kristoff St. John) will be concerned as the news spreads. He’ll fear that this mess will take a toll on his family. Neil will talk to Lily (Christel Khalil) about how she’s dealing with the crisis. It appears his comments could lead to a bit of a tiff.
Lily will suggest that she doesn’t think anything happened between Cane and Juliet. She’ll think Cane is being unfairly targeted. When Neil hints that maybe Lily’s wrong, she’ll ask if he’s saying he believes Juliet. Neil might contend that they just can’t be certain of anything at this point.
Serious doubts could emerge for Lily pretty soon. Old wounds may resurface as Cane and Lily battle trust issues once again. Meanwhile, Cane will become enraged when Victoria (Amelia Heinle) questions his side of the story. He’ll feel like his boss is turning against him.
Victoria will wonder if Cane really might’ve pushed Juliet to make love. She realizes Juliet would’ve done just about anything to score the position she wanted. Cane will be disgusted by the accusations, but he’s not completely innocent in all of this. He needs to at least admit that a hookup went down.
Of course, Y&R fans know Juliet is also telling a few fibs. No one is going to get away with his or her actions in this storyline. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is sure to stir up more trouble before long. She’s definitely going to enjoy tearing some lives apart.
