The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 12, tease that Juliet (Laur Allen) will announce the paternity results. She’ll reveal that Cane (Daniel Goddard) is indeed the father. Juliet will suggest that she doesn’t expect anything from Cane. She’ll note that the lawsuit settlement has taken care of her financial needs.
After Juliet exits, Cane will cry over his predicament. Y&R spoilers say Lily (Christel Khalil) will dish out some tough love. She’ll feel like Cane needs to take responsibility for his actions. Lily will urge Cane to find Juliet and ask her to let him be a father to this child.
Across town, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) won’t be pleased by the interview Victor (Eric Braeden) set up. Nevertheless, she’ll agree to give Hilary (Mishael Morgan) some material she can use. Things will get uncomfortable when Hilary asks about Nikki’s seemingly great romance. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will also face some awkward questions about Victor and Nikki’s bond.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will share a secret with Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). He’ll admit that he sabotaged the soundboard so the concert couldn’t move forward. At the venue, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby (Melissa Ordway) will freak. The smoking and crackling soundboard will leave her wondering what to do.
Abby will push a tech guy to patch it up, but the safety inspector won’t be convinced that they can make it happen. When Victor arrives, he’ll get updates on the situation. Despite his desperate pleas, the safety inspector will contend that they need to shut this down. Victor will share the bad news with the rest of his family, but he may hold out hope that this event can be salvaged.
In a hotel room, Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will play with Bella (Gia Poeme). Once they put their little girl to bed, Kevin will promise Chloe that everything’s going to be fine. He won’t think they have anything to worry about.
Chloe will confess that she’s concerned about Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez) and Victor (Eric Braeden). She’ll decide to come clean about Victor’s scheme and the role she played. Chloe will mention that she was the mystery woman on the prison security footage.
Kevin will insist that he understands the situation and can’t help how he feels about Chloe. He’ll believe he can handle the threat Victor poses. Unfortunately, trouble is brewing next week. The Young and the Restless fans can expect the sneaky duo to land in hot water.
