‘This Is Us’ star Chrissy Metz appeared on the red carpet for the very first time with her secret boyfriend, Josh Stancil. Chrissy Metz is finally opening up about her personal life. Chrissy and Josh made their first red carpet debut at Entertainment Weekly’s SAG Awards bash over the weekend.
Chrissy and Josh posed for photographers, but they said very little about their relationship to the media. Even though Chrissy revealed that she does have a boyfriend, she’s refused to talk about him. The only thing fans know about Chrissy and Josh is that they’ve been dating for a few short months now.
Right before Chrissy and Josh made their big debut, the actress said she wanted to protect Josh from the media. She told People Magazine back in October, “I’m dating someone, but it wasn’t like they came out of the woodwork just because I’m on the show. It was just organic, and I’m grateful for that because I know it’s difficult to be dating and in the spotlight and having things change.”
Up until this point, Chrissy Metz has been very secretive about her Josh Stancil romance. Just last month Chrissy said that she wanted to protect Josh from the public eye. She knows that she’s now a tabloid target. That’s why she was willing to do whatever it takes to keep her relationship with Josh under the radar for as long as possible. But now that they’ve made their first appearance as a couple, that’s about to change.
Everyone wants to know more details about Josh, how they met and how he’s coping with her fame. After all, Chrissy is one of the most popular television actresses right now thanks to the success of ‘This is Us.’ After all, Chrissy is now a household name thanks to the hit NBC dramedy.
