Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) meets with Sienna (Gail Bean) an informant that she had busted with cocaine a month earlier, she gave her this time to prove who was selling it; but now she gives Burgess a name of another girl, named Isabel who works at the club with her, who hits her; when Burgess says they don’t handle domestic abuse cases, Sienna asks her about an old murder. Isabel said the body was Wyatt and dumped near a factory and Isabel called her boyfriend “D”. Kim is furious because she realizes that Sienna is using again and tells her she has 3 days to give her something real or she files the charges.; but Sienna hasn’t spoken to Isabel in 3 weeks and doesn’t know where she lives.

Back in the truck, Kim tells Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) about Sienna’s story, calling her a “good actress;” but Hailey feels it is worth calling it in. Burgess says this is her first CI and the book says to not extend deals, Hailey tells her the book isn’t always right and sometimes you have to trust your gut.

Adam Rusek (Patrick John Flueger), Dt. Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas) and Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) meet in a back office when Rusek says that Denny Woods (Mykelti Williamson) believes he is on his side and wants to know what is next. Voight says they have to find his biggest weakness; Rusek says it is Voight! When Adam leaves the room, Olinsky says he believes him but that doesn’t mean he forgives him for betraying everyone. Dt. Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) asks Voight to speak in private.

Jay apologizes for what happens with Camila Vega and for putting the team in a bad situation, giving his word. Voight informs him he is on desk duty until further notice and has an appointment with a psychologist at 1 pm.

Burgess comes to the precinct and arrives with coffees for Sgt Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) and Hailey. She is convinced she will file the charges on Sienna if she doesn’t follow through with anything. Hailey pulls Burgess away to a homicide scene. When they arrive, Hailey turns to Burgess and says it was just a hunch, saying Sienna’s story was a little too weird to be fake and apologizes for overstepping; but now Burgess knows Sienna isn’t playing with her.

Back at the IU, Hailey, and Burgess share the information with the team, currently, the victim is a Jane Doe as the CI doesn’t know her name. Isabel Perez is dating the same man who looks good for the murder. She is 21 and working at a strip club called Alibi. Burgess is concerned that he may have already killed Isabel because she has been missing for 3 weeks and they have tried tracking her phone and it is dead. Voight refuses to allow Jay to join in the investigation and advises him to get to his appointment that starts in 10 minutes.

He meets Rebecca Sloane, who says if there is something he wants to talk about she will listen. He asks if there is nothing he wants to talk about? She only shrugs her shoulders and smiles.

The ME informs Olinsky and Dt. Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) that the victim’s cause of death was blunt force trauma as she was beaten repeatedly with a long object like a pipe or tire iron. She died approximately a month ago, but its hard to say if there was a sexual assault. There was one other thing worth pointing out, she has had lots of cosmetic procedures. Antonio suggests getting a list of nearby plastic surgeons but the ME says it would be a waste of time since she was injected with motor oil.

Burgess meets with Sienna again, who says she can’t have a felony on her record because she wants to train to become a chef. Kim tells her to stay focused and just do what she needs her to do. Sienna talks about a shelter Isabel stayed at, saying she was always trying to get her life right.

Kim and Hailey learn from Juan Martinez, the founder of Jenny’s Haven, that Isabel had stayed at the shelter he works at several times and Amanda was her counselor. Amanda admits she was concerned for her, saying the last time she heard from her was about 3 weeks ago when she was on her way to get some cosmetic surgery that her boyfriend really wanted her to have, but she didn’t have a name for the boyfriend nor the surgeon.

Hailey meets with one of her own informants, Raul to see if he knows anything about off the books medical clinics where women would get plastic surgery or injections. He says he will ask around. Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) and Rusek return with good news, their Jane Doe goes by the name of Sylvia Castro and has been missing from work for 3 months in Cleveland.

Kim and Hailey find the illegal medical clinic and initially denies knowing Isabel’s boyfriend’s name but when they show him a photo of Sylvia’s badly beaten and dead body, they ask him again what his name is.

Antonio gets off the phone with Sylvia’s sister who informs him that she met her boyfriend while she was staying in the women’s shelter Jenny’s Haven. Kim says Isabel was at the same shelter and they both had surgery paid for by the same guy named Damien Soto (Andhy Mendez). They learn he is a pimp and also Juan Martinez! Voight tells them to snatch him now.

Burgess gets upset when she sees the inside of the shelter and finds out that he has been locking the women up and he obviously had more than just Isabel working for him. She gets a call and leaves, saying she will be there in 15; Hailey leaves with her.

Sienna meets with them, saying she saw Isabel as Burgess informs her that Damien Soto has 6 other girls working for him. She wants Sienna to talk to the dealers for her, even though she is clean. She tells Sienna if she doesn’t help her, the only place she will be cooking is in Statesville. Hailey looks at Kim, saying she isn’t going to tell her how to do her job but that was pretty hardcore. Kim says she is a CI and that is what she signed up for!

The team puts out a BOLO on Damien’s vehicle and tells the team to hit the streets. Voight meets with a friend who runs a high-end escort service; she has no information to give him, but before he leaves, she asks him how he likes Nicole, saying he only talks to the girl, like its a therapy session.

Kevin and Adam have nothing. Kim and Hailey are waiting for something from Sienna when suddenly Burgess gets a call and heads to a homicide scene. Sienna is dead on the ground with two gunshot wounds to the chest; Burgess informs the officer that she was her informant. They know it isn’t a robbery, but they have information on the dealer so Voight tells them to pay Eduardo a visit and squeeze him for answers. Adam tries to assure Kim that Sienna’s death isn’t on her.

CPD barge into Eduardo’s house, where they find heroin, but he seemed surprised that Sienna was dead. Kim tells him he has two options, either they bust him for heroin possession and conspiracy to commit murder or two he can help them find Isabel Perez. He admits says Damien told him to send the text so Isabel could talk to her friend, but he also knows Damien is coming over in a few hours to score some product. They tell him to pretend like everything is normal, he will work for Antonio like everything is normal or go to jail.

Outside, there is an unknown driver, who drops Isabel off. Isabel sees Kim and the police inside but Burgess says she isn’t in trouble and they are there to help. Atwater and Rusek drive up to the car and get out with their guns out, but he reverses the car and takes off.

Inside the interrogation room, Voight and Burgess talk to Isabel, who doesn’t know where she lives. They tell her that Damien killed Sylvia Castro and her friend Sienna; she is shocked that Sienna is dead. She composes herself and says she doesn’t remember anything. Voight and Burgess leave the room and he says they need to let her go through withdrawal and rest in one of their safe houses. Voight tells Adam to go with Kim and help get Isabel squared away. Kim gives her a phone before she leaves and promises there will be a patrol car in the area.

Outside Adam says this isn’t loving, it is Stockholm Syndrome. Suddenly, Isabel makes a call to Damien, saying the police are gone and they make arrangements to meet, Kim calls in the location. As Isabel is happy to see him, Damien is furious thinking she set him up and CPD shoots him when he pulls out a gun. Isabel cries out, angry that the police are hurting him; Kim holds her.

Damien is in surgery, took two bullets to the shoulder but will live. Isabel is in bad shape and in a clinic with Antonio. They still have no idea where Damien is living and still have missing girls, Voight wants boots on the ground because they need to find these girls soon. Hailey asks Jay how therapy is going when he says it isn’t his thing, she suggests he tell her if he is going to attempt to take it seriously because if he isn’t, she needs to find a new partner.

Hailey goes to see Raul again, who has a lead but since it is a Latin Cobra gang lead, it could get him killed. Kim is furious, saying they can take a risk on her CI but not Hailey’s. Kim says Raul knows what his job is as a police informant but Hailey objects to Kim’s by the book views, saying he is a friend, a husband, and a father.

Voight, slaps Damien awake, demanding to know where he is keeping the girls. Damien laughs saying Isabel loves him and won’t tell them anything. Damien says he will tell them where the girls are when they offer him total immunity, but until then they can kiss his Columbian ass. Olinsky closes the hospital curtains and Voight pulls out his knife, explaining a guy he knew had a really bad motorcycle accident and was in a lot of pain, ended up dying in the hospital but not from his injuries but a morphine overdose; they believed someone just punched in the wrong numbers. Voight says if Damien dies they will just find some other way to find them. Damien tells him again to kiss his ass, Voight leans in and says to look at his face because this is the last thing he will ever see. Just as Voight punches a number, a doctor walks in and Voight winks, saying “Hey Doc, he’s all yours!”

Voight asks Nurse Doris (Lorena Diaz) to pretend like she forgot her cell phone in Damien’s room; they trace the call and its another pimp named Cesar Ramos. The IU is in position and is ready to move, Cesar us forced to drop the bull cutters and when CPD breaks into the house and reveal who they are, they find all the women inside, but one didn’t make it, the diabetic that didn’t have any insulin.

Voight informs Isabel that they found the other girls, but Lydia died because she needed insulin. They need Isabel’s help to convict Damien, trying to convince her that he didn’t care whether they lived or died. Voight says that isn’t true, he wanted them to live because he wanted to sell them all and he lets her hear the call of Damien trying to sell all 7 women to Cesar.

Burgess sits down, and pushes her, saying that they all hold out hope for love, but deep down she knows that this love is a lie. Kim explains how she has been there, loving someone who didn’t really love her and she kept pretending and hoping. Eventually, she said that it was enough and wanted more. Rusek can hear the entire conversation as Kim continues to talk to Isabel. Kim promises her that one day the hurt gets better and she will feel whole again and she believes it is time for her to say it is enough!

Isabel reveals to Voight that she knows the location of the tire iron Damien used to kill Sylvia. Rusek leaves the room after everything Kim says. Hailey tells Kim she was amazing with Isabel and they have enough to charge Damien with murder, but both are not happy that Lydia and Sienna had to die while doing their job. Hailey reminds her she needs to trust her instincts and she asks Kim about getting together for dinner on the weekend, she agrees.

Jay apologizes for the last minute meeting with Rebecca Sloane, but it seems like he is ready to talk and he says he is.

At the bar, Kim tells Adam the story she told Isabel was not him and tells him there is no need to go backward and she is not in the mood. He suggests going back to his place, she says they can’t as they work together and are in two totally different places. But having said that, she feels like having some fun tonight, grabs his face and kisses him, suggesting they get out of there. He pays their tab and they leave.

END!
