Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) heading back to Salem later this year, so DOOL’s already been laying the groundwork. First, Xander (Paul Telfer) took off with some incriminating evidence. He’s got a recording of Nicole’s confession, so he’ll undoubtedly use that when the time is right.
Of course, Eve (Kassie DePaiva) also knows Nicole killed Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). Brady admitted that he blackmailed Nicole over it and ultimately drove her out of town. In Tuesday’s episode, Eve spills the news to Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). That means it’s only a matter of time before Eric (Greg Vaughan) finds out as well. This secret’s spreading to all the key players, so a great storyline’s brewing.
It sounds like Nicole may be on the hot seat down the road. One way or another, she’ll make her way back to Salem. Xander might even force her! After that, Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Nicole may get grilled by the cops. She’ll definitely worry that Holly will be taken away from her.
However, the show’s been ignoring one crucial fact lately. Nicole was drugged by the man she murdered! Deimos had everyone on Halo that night, so none of the guests were thinking clearly. Would Nicole have done the same thing in her right mind? Perhaps, but nobody can ever know for sure.
It wouldn’t make sense for Nicole to end up in prison for this. Days probably wouldn’t bring Nicole back just to incarcerate her anyway. This is probably just about clearing Nicole’s name and giving “Ericole” some closure. Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say this return stint will be thrilling. It’ll only be short-term, but the show intends to make it fun for viewers.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Arianne Zucker dished on what’s ahead. “My return to DAYS playing Nicole, while only a short visit, really packs a punch,” Zucker revealed. “It seems to be Nicole’s divine way of how she lives her life and it always involves some kind of trouble.” Most DOOL watchers won’t complain about that! Nicole’s best as a bit of a troublemaker.
Zucker added, “It was great to visit the set again and create an exciting short arc for dedicated fans.” Days spoilers say Nicole’s going to cause plenty of chaos, so don’t miss what’s in store.
