Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Belle (Martha Madison) is in for a big surprise. She’s been among the many people duped by John (Drake Hogestyn), Roman (Josh Taylor), and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) about Marlena (Deidre Hall). And actually, she’s the reason that John had to get Hattie (Deidre Hall) to impersonate Marlena in the first place.
Belle was the one who insisted that the family honor Marlena’s medial directive, and she gave the directive to the hospital administration, much to John’s horror. Belle felt that she was doing the right thing by honoring Marlena’s wishes, but she ended up breaking John’s heart and nearly getting herself disowned.
It was a harrowing time for the family as they prepared for “Marlena’s” ventilator to be turned off. But then Marlena (who was actually Hattie) woke up. Belle was thrilled but she’s noticed ever since that something seems “off” about her mom. And now she’ll see why.
Days spoilers say that John will reunite Belle with the real Marlena, who is on the mend in a secluded area of the hospital. Belle will probably be shocked to learn about what John did to save Marlena. And she’ll probably want to apologize to Marlena for her actions, even though at the time she felt that she was doing the right thing.
It also looks like John and Belle will finally make peace. Things between the two of them have been strained ever since the living will became an issue, but it looks like they’ll get things out in the open and clear the air, probably with Marlena’s help.
