Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher) is in for a rude awakening. He’s used to getting his way and operating under the radar of the law. He kidnaps people, like Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini), at will and generally suffers no repercussions for his actions. But suddenly Stefan will be at the mercy of the law, and there won’t be much he can do about it.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Stefan is about to be arrested for a very serious crime…espionage! Earlier this year, Stefan acquired the technology for a “bionic eye,” which he was willing to sell to the highest bidder.
But he ultimately gave the technology to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) so that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) could regain his sight.
Of course, the deal for Kayla came with strings attached, and Stefan made Kayla spy on Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and illegally fork over Abigail DiMera’s (Kate Mansi) medical records. It was quite an ordeal for Kayla, but she ultimately got what she wanted…Steve’s sight.
Unfortunately, though, Steve soon got arrested for espionage, since it turned out that the bionic eye was capable of recording everything it sees. This got Steve into a world of trouble, and he’s been jammed up for weeks trying to get out of the mess.
Kayla is furious with Stefan, as she blames him for having prior knowledge about the eye’s capabilities but not informing her about the risks.
But now it seems that it’s Stefan’s turn to be in trouble for the bionic eye technology. It only makes sense that the feds would eventually come after the technology owner. After all, if Steve’s eye was recording sensitive data, someone had to be looking at what it was recording, and that’s probably why the feds will be interested in taking a hard look at Stefan.
Days spoilers say that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will arrest Stefan, and it looks lie Stefan will spend some time behind bars. Of course, Stefan’s got a lot of money and influence, so he’ll probably be out of holding quicker than Steve was, but he’ll still be in serious trouble, since espionage is a high crime.
