Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some familiar faces are set to hit Salem again. DOOL films several months in advance, so we’re always hearing about comebacks to look forward to. It seems Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Carrie (Chrisie Clark) will be two of the returns coming up in 2019.
Although there’s no official confirmation just yet, some Instagram posts and inside sources point to these sisters popping up briefly. Days of Our Lives buzz suggests that Carrie and Sami could be in town for a tough farewell. Now that Peggy McCay has died, perhaps Days will let Caroline pass away, too.
It makes sense for the show to acknowledge McCay’s contribution and write Caroline out permanently. She hasn’t lived in Salem for quite some time, so it’d be easy for Roman (Josh Taylor) to get a phone call with some difficult news. He might learn that Caroline died and start rounding up her loved ones for a funeral.
Days of Our Lives can’t just leave this loose end dangling forever, so they might as well do this right. DOOL fans always enjoy flashbacks and warm memories. This would be a great opportunity to include some of those in a touching tribute. Caroline will always be remembered for her caring spirit and helpful advice.
Of course, we could see other characters get back in the mix as well. Carrie and Sami probably wouldn’t be the only ones to attend a memorial service like this. These Days scenes wouldn’t be airing until around June or so, which means there’s plenty of time for more returns to get leaked.
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that Sami’s comeback could have another purpose, too. It looks like Will’s (Chandler Massey) going to land in the hospital down the road, so Sami will need to support him. Perhaps Sami will come home for the funeral and extend her trip for her son’s medical crisis.
