Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi (Camila Banus) and Eli (Lamon Archey) will move their relationship along this week. They faced a slight hiccup thanks to the Christmas Eve misunderstanding, but Gabi’s willing to overlook it. She believes they’re on the verge of something great here, so she’s OK with just letting it go.
However, Eli’s keeping a huge secret and he’s about to have a close call. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will find something surprising after they make love. She’ll pick up Lani’s (Sal Stowers) earring and wonder what it’s doing in Eli’s room.
When Gabi confronts Eli, he’ll decide he has no choice but to lie. Eli will be desperate to keep his relationship with Gabi intact. Days spoilers say Eli will mention that Lani dropped by his room to talk. That much is true. Eli will just leave out the part where they had steamy sex. He’ll claim Lani simply chatted with him for a moment and left.
Eli will note that the earring must’ve fallen off during their discussion. DOOL spoilers say Gabi will ponder Eli’s explanation and determine that she trusts him. She’ll choose to ignore any doubts, but that’s obviously not the best idea. During the week of January 22-26, Valerie (Vanessa Williams) will drop a bomb on Eli. She’ll let him know that Lani’s pregnant.
Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Eli will be taken aback by this news. He’ll immediately suspect it could be his kid. Lani’s recent behavior was a huge tipoff. Eli will undoubtedly remember how upset Lani was and how she insisted there were consequences. It sounds like Eli will have to confront Lani and get some answers.
At that point, Lani will be committed to passing this baby off as JJ’s (Casey Moss). She’ll convince herself that JJ never has to know the truth. Eli’s discovery could throw off Lani’s plans. He never knew his father, so he may not be too keen on letting someone else raise his son or daughter.
