Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami (Alison Sweeney) will remain determined. It’s been a rough few years without EJ (last played by James Scott) by her side, but Sami’s tried to hang in there. She found a way to move on, but she never truly let go.
Part of Sami always had to wonder if EJ might be out there somewhere. She followed clues all over the world, but nothing ever panned out…until now. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami’s finally on the verge of a real reunion.
The mystery patient has been tucked away behind a door with “E.D.” on the front. This certainly seems like our beloved E.J. DiMera. Of course, this mystery man also reacted to the mention of Sami’s name. He even whispered “Samantha” in a British accent.
Unlike Will (Chandler Massey), EJ was dead as a doornail when Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) injected him with Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) serum. That was a tough demise to come back from. Will was still clinging to life after a strangling, but EJ was ice cold in the morgue.
That’s why EJ’s recovery has been so slow. Nevertheless, he’s clearly made considerable progress. This progress should really rev up once Sami’s back in his life. During the week of October 22-26, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami will find the mystery patient at last. She should be thrilled if everything goes as planned and she confirms it’s EJ.
Unfortunately, EJ may have a bit of a setback thanks to an explosion. DOOL’s fall promo showed someone covered in bandages. It appears they may do this to set up EJ’s new face. That way they can bring somebody besides James Scott in for EJ’s next stint.
If Days can secure Scott’s comeback, that’d be great. If not, they’ll have an easy way to explain EJ’s different appearance. Regardless, Sami will probably take EJ off to recover somewhere and return with him eventually. It’d be fun to see EJ and Sami as a power couple in town again!
Alison Sweeney likes to do short stints occasionally, so we’ll anxiously await another one. They might as well let EJ come with Sami next time. By then, EJ should be strong and vibrant. He’ll be ready to take Salem by storm!
