Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, January 2, tease that the news about Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) survival will spread. There are still plenty of questions swirling about how this is even possible, but Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) is thrilled that Jack’s alive. Of course, she’s not so thrilled that he can’t remember her or the rest of his family!
To make matters worse, Eve has been poisoning Jack against Jennifer and will continue to do so. He doesn’t see Jenn as the great love of his life. Jack sees her as someone who turned against him and strung him along on more than one occasion.
Days fans know it’s much more complicated than that, but Jack will remain opposed to a romantic reunion for quite some time.
However, there’s one reunion that Jack can’t avoid. Days of Our Lives spoilers say JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will drop the Jack bomb on Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi), so she’ll want to see their dad.
Abigail will be just as stunned as JJ was when she looks in her father’s eyes. She’ll be glad to know Jack is somehow home again, but his total personality change will leave her disappointed.
Jack just isn’t the same warm, caring individual he used to be. He loved his family with all his heart, so seeing him feel nothing for them is brutal. That’s exactly what Eve has in mind. She’ll even plan to twist the knife by making Jack her husband in the coming weeks.
Whether Eve succeeds or fails, Jack considers her his whole world right now. It’ll be tough for Jennifer and the others to make him see how toxic Eve is. Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will be worried about Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) as well. Her brother’s back from the dead, but things are more complicated than ever.
Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will hear about Jack’s return in Wednesday’s DOOL episode. He’ll be surprised, but he probably won’t have trouble believing it. After everything that happened with Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Sonny knows a gruesome end is never really the end in Salem!
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will be desperate. She’ll plead with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to help her avoid another prison sentence, but he may fear the worst.
Fortunately, Abigail will save Gabi at some point. She won’t be able to watch Arianna Horton (Harper and Sydnee Udell) suffer through another separation from her mom.
