Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric (Greg Vaughan) will be in grave danger in the coming days. But chances are, he won’t have his own safety on his mind. He’s going to be in total despair over the loss of his beloved Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Nicole will perish in an explosion and fire in the secret facility where Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Xander (Paul Telfer) have been spending their days.
Eric will be beside himself over Nicole’s death, and his grief will turn into anger, mostly toward Brady (Eric Martsolf). Eric will blame Brady for Nicole’s death, because if Brady hadn’t recorded Nicole confessing to killing Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), then none of the events leading to Nicole’s death would have occurred. He’ll also be livid with Brady for rescuing him from the fire and leaving Nicole behind.
But there’s someone else who will be in despair over Nicole’s death as well…and that’s Xander. In his own warped way, Xander loved Nicole. He truly wanted their marriage to be real and was hoping that Nicole would come to love him in time. That dream will be shattered in the wake of Nicole’s death.
While Eric lays blame on Brady, Xander will lay blame for Nicole’s death squarely on Eric. As far as Xander will be concerned, everything was going along fine until Eric showed up looking for Nicole. In Xander’s mind, Eric set the events in motion that led to Nicole’s death.
Days spoilers say that Xander will be livid about what happened to Nicole, and he’ll vow to make Eric pay. He’ll kick himself for not killing Eric when he had the chance at Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John’s (Drake Hogestyn) wedding, and he’ll decide that it’s time for Eric to finally meet his maker.
