OA and Maggie go to visit a marshall in the hospital who witnessed a shooting of a protected witness by the name of Damion Cruz. Meanwhile, back at headquarters, the team has retrieved a receipt for the scene of the crime.

They send OA and Maggie to East Harlem to check out the restaurant and see what they can find out about the delivery receipt. OA poses as a civilian and asks the restaurant to deliver the same order for his buddy. They follow the delivery man who leads them to their man, Ernesto. Maggie gets out of the vehicle. The man and his friends all flee the scene, running from her. Maggie chases the man on foot. Just as he turns to shoot at her, OA jumps on him. They bring him in and ask him who ordered the hit on Cruz. Ernesto finally talks after Maggie threatens him. He gives up a name, Vincent Marino.

OA and Maggie head to Marino’s with a team. They find him dead. They check his phone records and see that he has been calling a woman named Amber. They head to see her at a restaurant where she works. She tells them she was his sponsor. They get a call to head to another crime. At the scene, another protected witness is dead. A female by the name of Maya. Maggie thinks the program has been compromised. It could be the marshall. They head to see him. He swears it wasn’t him but maybe someone has been watching him. They find a GPS tracker on his car.

OA and Maggie visit with a man in prison connected to Maya. She sold him out and now he is in prison for life. He’ll talk for a better cell. He gives them details about someone on the outside with a sexy lady with red hair. It’s Amber. They go to talk to her and she admits it was Deputy Ackerman who has been selling the names.

Before they know it, Ackerman is on the run and Amber isn’t talking. They ask Jubal to talk to her since she went through AA and he did too. He refuses and tells Maggie he won’t use AA against her.

Maggie sits to talk to her. She tells them she was forced to testify against her own father. She liked Ackerman. He talked her into going to AA. She liked him. Even though he is married, they started dating. When Marino found out, Ackerman was forced to give up a name from the list. They tell her 7 people are dead. She is in shock. She had no idea. But she cannot betray him. He saver her life and she loved him.

They visit Ackerman’s wife who says another female witness did the same thing. She knows her husband wouldn’t cheat. And he wouldn’t take off without her.

They get intel on the vehicle Ackerman was driving. He has been abandoned. Ackerman calls into headquarters. He wants Amber released or he will sell another name. They have 30 minutes. They go back to Amber and tell her all about his other relationship. They show her photos of the dead witnesses. He could do the same to her.

Amber gets off a bus. She heads into a store and comes out. She gets a text from Ackerman to head to a location down the road. She gets into the cab with her hoodie on and sunglasses. They meet in the woods and just as he goes to grab her hand, she cuffs him. It’s Maggie. The team jumps out and take him down.

Maggie asks Jubal if they are good even though she wanted him to talk to Amber. He tells her they are fine – they put away the bad guy and that’s what counts.

THE END!
