General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there are some interesting comings and goings details to pass along. For starters, a big return’s coming up next week. Anthony Montgomery will reprise his role as Dr. Andre Maddox on February 15.
Anna (Finola Hughes) will stop by the slammer to see her close friend, but there should be a deeper reason for this visit. Andre was tied to the traitor, so Anna may push him to share more info. She’s on a mission to learn the full Heinrik story, so a chat with Andre couldn’t hurt.
Perhaps Anna will score at least a little something during this prison trip. Any information will be appreciated. Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) return stint will also continue next week. She’ll share some sweet scenes with Jason (Steve Burton), so GH fans will want to stay tuned.
General Hospital spoilers say one more comeback’s in the works. Drew Fonteiro will return to Port Charles in the near future. He played Bob the messenger in 2013, so maybe Bob will have other messages to deliver during Fonteiro’s upcoming stint.
Now let’s get to some casting news. General Hospital plans to add a Hispanic cop at the PCPD. This 20-something officer role is a day-player gig, but GH has left the possibility open for a heftier part. That’s not the only cast addition in store. The ABC soap intends to bring in a new doctor as well.
GH’s newest doc will have an arc that lasts two to three months. It sounds like maybe a specialist will be needed for a particular storyline. Since Mike (Max Gail) seems to have Alzheimer’s, Sonny (Maurice Benard) might find him the best and brightest. The doctor could diagnosis Mike and kick off the rest of this plot.
If not, perhaps another General Hospital character will fall ill. There’s always a need for skilled docs around GH. Of course, we should also mention Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) departure. Friday’s funeral, February 9, wraps up Paevey’s exit storyline, so viewers will just have to get along without Nathan from now on.
