General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there’s more going on between Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) than meets the eye! These two are suddenly best buds, so they’ve been bonding over baby stuff. Brad’s nervous about his impending adoption with Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), but Nelle has assured him that everything will work out.
Something’s definitely fishy about this “new” friendship between Nelle and Brad. Could Nelle be involved in a black-market adoption or some other type of shady deal? Lucas wouldn’t go for it if he thought there was any kind of impropriety. Brad also seems to think everything’s legit.
However, it’s worth mentioning that this birth mother wants to remain anonymous. Nelle always has a few schemes cooking, so you never know if how she might fit in all this. If Nelle’s the birth mom, GH will have to pull off some complicated tricks. Nelle needs this baby to win over Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so giving it up would be a mistake.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is also pregnant, so it’s wise to be aware of all the potential puzzle pieces. Her baby could end up in Brad’s arms if she’s not careful! In fact, that might be a way for Nelle to secretly pay Brad back for a favor. General Hospital spoilers say their connection could involve major manipulation.
Could Nelle be lying about the baby’s father with a little help from her new bestie? Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) recently proved he can’t stay faithful. Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) had to find out about Dillon’s new girlfriend when a woman answered his phone!
If Nelle hooked up with Dillon before he left town, she might’ve turned her unplanned pregnancy into a way to reel Michael back in. Brad has been known to rig lab tests before, so Nelle might’ve heard the gossip and befriended him. She may have persuaded her pal to adjust those results.
Brad told Griffin (Matt Cohen) he wants to stay on a better path now, but he ordered that sketchy paternity test anyway. That proves that even when Brad tries to do the right thing, he can be pressured enough to change his mind. If Brad indeed altered the paternity results for Nelle’s baby, it’s sure to cause a whole lot of drama. A soapy secret like this would really shake things up!
