General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) will finally get some answers about his dad. Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will soon find herself backed into a corner. She’ll realize Nathan just isn’t going to let this go. Dr. O might as well reveal who Nathan’s biological father is and pursue a new tactic to keep them apart.
Since Nathan’s curiosity can’t be tamed, honesty is Dr. Obrecht’s best policy. She’ll spill the whole story and hope that a warning will stop Nathan’s dangerous mission. If you’re wondering why there’s so much peril involved, it’s because of the name Dr. O’s about to drop. Nathan’s father is…drumroll please…Faison (Anders Hove)!
GH fans have tossed Faison around as a possibility on social media, so it’s not a complete surprise. The option’s been lurking in the back of everyone’s mind. There have been plenty of Faison mentions lately and Dr. Obrecht warned Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) about turning against him. That set up some of the fears Dr. Obrecht will relay to Nathan.
We should also talk about the manuscript that was delivered to Faison. “The Severed Branch” contained some crucial clues, which may be explained by Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). This tale involves a power struggle between a father and his son.
There may be a connection to Faison and Nathan’s upcoming storyline. Nathan is a severed branch on Faison’s family tree and he’ll undoubtedly fight his dad’s dark forces. A real battle of good and evil could be brewing.
General Hospital spoilers say Nathan will be taken aback by Dr. Obrecht’s admission. He won’t understand why she sold him the Victor Cassadine (Thaao Penghlis) story instead of just telling the truth. Dr. O may insist that Faison would’ve harmed Nathan. In fact, he still might!
GH viewers can expect Dr. Obrecht to caution Nathan about looking for Faison. She’ll advise against confronting his father with his new knowledge. Unfortunately, Nathan won’t listen. General Hospital spoilers hint that Nathan’s search will soon get underway, so a risky faceoff could follow.
