General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that even though it appears the greatest villain that ever terrorized Port Charles, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), has died, his son Heinrich aka Peter August (Wes Ramsay) lives on. Over recent months, GH fans have noticed that the once self-sufficient and feisty Samantha “Sam’ McCall (Kelly Monaco) has turned somewhat into an emotionless drone.
This especially has been noted when the love of her life, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), returned from the dead – nearly five years after he was he was cruelly shoved off the pier, into the icy waters and never seen again – at least not until Jake Doe showed up and was mistakenly thought to be Jason.
General Hospital viewers wondered what happened to Sam, as she gave Jason the cold-shoulder, continuing to live her life with the new man in her life. Of course Drew Cain (Billy Miller) turned out to be Jason’s never before heard of twin brother. General Hospital spoilers recall Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) curse on her deathbed to Sam and it couldn’t be more true than it is now. Helena promised her that Sam and hers will never know happiness in this life, nor any other!
General Hospital buzz teases that it is clear, Sam and Jason Morgan have a love that will last through the ages. One might compare them to Edward and Lila Quartermaine as they are definitely soulmates. GH fans have to wonder what’s keeping Sam from taking the final leap and reuniting with Jason, especially after that New Year’s Eve kiss on the Haunted Star. Ultimately, she chose to recommit to Drew by remarrying him in an intimate ceremony at the Penthouse, but why?
General Hospital spoilers reveal that it is entirely possible that after watching a completely miserable Sam exchange vows with Drew that something sinister is going on. Since Peter has been involved with the memory mapping project and presumably much of Faison’s and Helena’s mad science, GH buzz suggests that he could have brainwashed Sam. Peter arrived just in time to get the job done – keeping Sam with Drew despite her stronger love for Jason.
He has worked closely, day-in and day-out with Sam, at Aurora Media providing ample opportunity to work his father’s magic and manipulate her to stay with Drew and away from Jason. Peter’s own words were that he expected Jason to kill Faison and for that he couldn’t have him all lovey-dovey with Sam!
