Midnight, Texas begins tonight with a pregnant newcomer driving into Midnight and getting into the church, just before the baby explodes out of her belly; blood splattering all over the walls. Lemuel (Peter Mensah) senses something is wrong and enters the church, finding the mothers with her belly ripped open, there is a note beside her that says the baby’s name is Mary and to please help her.

Manfred (Francois Arnaud) is at the bar with Patience (Jaime Ray Newman), telling her about traveling throughout the country in the RV with his dead grandmother inside. He enjoys her company as she tells him how much she needed a night out with someone who actually wants to hear what she has to say. She knows Kai (Nestor Carbonell) has a demanding career, paying a lot of attention with a lot of young women; but neither one of them want to talk about their respective relationships or lack thereof.

Manfred is called to the church where Bobo (Dylan Bruce), Fiji (Parisa Fitz-Henley), Olivia (Arielle Kebbel) and Joe (Jason Lewis) have already gathered. Patience walks in and sees the woman’s body. Manfred is unable to speak to her ghost, but they see scars and burn marks on the woman, realizing she must have been kept captive. Suddenly under the blanket, the baby, Mary begins to snarl and Olivia grabs her knife as they watch the baby turn into a toddler; both Lemuel and Joe realize she is a weretiger like Rev was.

Olivia is freaked out, but Lemuel assures her the growth stops at 18. Joe is trying to track down the Rev and Lemuel want to take the night shift. Fiji did a spell on Patience, confirming her intentions are good; he also reveals that he wants to have children but Olivia has no warm and fuzzy feelings and it is a hard NO on having children with her.

Fiji packs up Bobo’s stuff as Mr. Snuggly (Joe Smith) the cat understands why she had to end things with him, but he is outside playing their song. She smiles but comes outside telling him to go home; he refuses until he gets some answers, thinking it is ridiculous and they are soul mates, begging her not to give up on him. She walks away but he swears he isn’t giving up on her; the cat tells her she will need a new plan.

Patience and Manfred search the truck, realizing the woman stole it to escape. Manfred finds a photo, thinking the man in the picture might be Mary’s dad as Patience wonders what the poor woman was running from. Two men with stun guns are determined to find the “bitch”.

Olivia gives Mary bacon, telling Lem in his coffin that she is trying to keep her sanity and won’t be able to hack it until sundown. She laughs that Mary is absorbing language as fast as she grows, she turns around and Mary has grown again, demanding to change since she hates purple. Olivia gives her a different dress to put on, but she doesn’t like it; Olivia doesn’t give her an option. Mary wants to know why she is growing so fast and Olivia can’t sugarcoat it. She tells her that her mom is gone and she has to grow up. She shares she had to grow up fast but for different reasons but the point is the only person she can depend on is herself. She insists she is not mad at Mary.

Fiji brings Bobo coffee at the bar, explaining that she’s been thinking about them a lot. She thinks they need to figure out how to consciously uncouple. She tells him to drink the funny tasting coffee, suddenly he fights when she tells him to forget about her and what he is drinking is going to make him do it. He is shocked and can’t remember what he is saying but she says she is doing this to save his life. He doesn’t know who she is so she reintroduces herself to him.

Manfred and Patience find shock collars in the back of the truck, but they hide under the truck when two men approach it. They are desperate to find the kid more than it’s mother, as Manfred whispers to Patience that they need to warn Olivia.

Manfred calls Olivia, who smiles when she spots a picture Mary drew of the two of them. She goes into her weapons room and goes outside to help Mary, but Mary is in the midst of transitioning and kills both the men. Olivia lowers her weapon and tells the girl everything is okay.

Mary runs to Olivia who hugs her, worried about what this means. Patience gives Mary her sweater to cover her up; Joe reveals he has been unable to find anything on Mary’s father and her being able to change in the middle of the day has to do with puberty; like humans, it’s all hormonal. Patience feels nothing but pity for her and the police show up because someone at the hotel heard screams. They tell the police it looks like an animal attack and no one saw anything.

Manfred sees one of the ghosts and says they need to go to the morgue. Mary talks to Lemuel and Olivia, feeling she doesn’t want to be special because it means being different. Lemuel promises that they will take care of her, she hugs Olivia who isn’t sure how to feel about it. Mary falls asleep as Olivia admits to Lemuel that it felt good. Olivia takes Mary out to eat, but when Fiji walks in, Bobo asks her if they know each other; Fiji says she has one of those faces. She lives alone with her cat and likes it that way.

Olivia approaches Fiji, who reveals that she put a spell on him to make him forget her and not love her. Olivia wonders what if it is fate and what will Fiji do if Bobo falls in love with her again. Fiji says it is a family curse and he simply can’t. Olivia admits Mary is doing great but she is the one who is a mess, promising to protect her but no clue who she is protecting her from. A woman comes to Midnight, looking for her daughter Sheila Barrone (Catharine E. Jones) and Olivia reveals her sister died. Mary walks up to her and calls her “grandma.”

Grace Barrone (Rondi Reed) sits with them, as they explain that Mary is a Were-Tiger and she is safe with them, as they are protecting her from whoever is after her. Fiji and Olivia walk away so Grace can tell Mary more about her parents. Olivia wants Fiji to do a DNA test on the lipstick, but Fiji thinks she is being overly protective; she orders Fiji to just do the test!

Patience dresses in a little top and shorts, saying she needs a boost for her truck so she doesn’t miss court. She drags out the man from the ME’s office so Manfred can get into the morgue. He removes the body from the freezer and talks to the Gypsy wanting to know why he wanted Sheila and the little girl. Manfred shows him his tattoo and says he is from the same clan and if he doesn’t reveal what he knows, Manfred will leave his body in the drawer for months. He tells Manfred that he runs a fight meet for supernaturals. Sheila’s old man is a prizefighter and the owner is the worst bitch around.

Olivia still doesn’t feel right about Grace, saying even though they are blood doesn’t mean they have your best interest at heart. Manfred tells her about the fight club and she already knows it is run by Grace; she turns to the room and they are both gone. Grace has a shock collar on Mary, showing her all the supernaturals she has in cages, silver for weres and gold for banshees and iron for demons. Mary doesn’t understand how she can do this to her own granddaughter, but Grace explains that Sheila betrayed the Gypsy bloodline by hooking up with one of these beasts and once she did, she locked her up like the rest of them but there will be no escape for Mary. Mary meets her father, Mike who is only able to apologize to her before Grace shocks him into the corner.

Everyone gathers from Midnight, as Lemuel loves nothing more than a little rage in a cage. Olivia tells Patience there is nothing more distracting than a pretty girl. Bobo comes to see Fiji, admitting he has been asking around town about her. Fiji tells him she doesn’t have time for him as she is working on a protection spell for Mary, they touch and Bobo remembers everything about them being in love.

Patience is able to get their way into the fights as Manfred announces he has a fighter willing to take on anyone, offering a grand that his Vamp can take down anyone. Grace is surprised he captured a Vamp without any gear, Manfred says he broke his spirit. Lemuel enters the ring as Joe and Olivia go to find Mary. Joe uses his Angel light but Olivia knocks people out. They get Mary out but she refuses to leave without her dad, so Joe works on it. Lemuel is wasting time in the ring but Grace is called away. He wins the fight and everyone chants Lem’s name. Mike refuses to leave, saying everyone is a victim but Grace pushes the button saying she will make them all fry. Joe uses his light to blast them all and frees everyone from their cages.

Olivia hugs Mary, who is safe with her father. Mary wants to go to Midnight, Texas but Mike wants her to come with him to a Were haven in Nevada that is safe for them; she wants Olivia and Lemuel to come with them. Olivia says Midnight is there home and Lemuel tells them they are welcome any time. Olivia says if she had a second chance with her father she’d take it as Mary needs to remember girls like them are strong and special. Olivia tears up and Lemuel holds her as Mary leaves.

Patience and Manfred are on a high from what they just did, calling each other amazing; the two almost kiss in the middle of the street, but stop themselves and bid each other good night. Fiji turned Bobo into a dog, saying it is only temporary until she figures out what to do about the curse; her cat thinks it is unacceptable.

At home, Lemuel comforts Olivia who says she is fine but he admits he misses her too. Olivia feels stupid because they only had her for two days and it felt like they had a family. Olivia cries as its been so long since she had a family. Manfred is drinking at his table when he sees Patience outside his window; he lets her in, with tears running down her face she jumps on him, kissing him.

THE END!
