Princess Eugenie needs more space and that’s why she and her new husband Jack Brooksbank are getting an upgrade. There are new reports that indicate Eugenie and Jack, who just got married at a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle earlier this month, will be moving in to a multi-million-pound penthouse in the near future. This also means that Princess Eugenie will be leaving her Kensington Palace cottage behind, as she reportedly complained that it was way too small for her and her growing needs.
According to Britain’s Express, Princess Eugenie was spotted visiting a luxury multi-million pound mansion in West London. The property is currently under construction, yet many royal observers believe that Eugenie might be relocating after she supposedly said that she is unhappy living in Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace and wants to move out sooner rather than later.
For a lot of royal fans and critics, this doesn’t surprise anyone at all. After all, both Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice have made it pretty clear that as members of the British royal family, they deserve all of the perks that come with being a part of the monarchy.
And now that Eugenie is married to her husband Jack Brooksbank, she might be looking to start a family together in the near future. The three-bedroom Ivy Cottage that Princess Eugenie currently calls home might not be big enough for Jack and their future children.
One source told The Mail on Sunday, “They have always planned to move into their own home. Eugenie has her own wealth from her family and Jack’s family are also wealthy. It was only a matter of time before they sought somewhere a bit larger to live after their wedding was out of the way.”
And while Eugenie think that her current home feels too cramp for her, her Ivy Cottage home is actually one room larger than Prince Harry and pregnant Meghan Markle’s two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage home on the other side of the courtyard. In comparison, Prince William and Kate Middleton live in a 21-room suite with their three children inside Kensington Palace itself.
