Sarah Ferguson Desperate To Win Royal Approval Ahead Of Princess Eugenie’s Wedding

Sarah Ferguson is desperately trying to get her foot back in the door at Buckingham Palace. Despite her seismic efforts to get back into the royal firm, her scandalous past is apparently one of the reasons why Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the British royal family want nothing to do with her.

According to new reports, Sarah is trying to win royal approval from the Queen of England and the rest of the monarchy ahead of her daughter Princess Eugenie’s wedding but unfortunately, it’s just not working out for her. That’s because everyone still remembers her scandalous past. She might have been forgiven for all of the things she has done, but it surely hasn’t been forgotten.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams recently told Britain’s Express that despite Sarah’s efforts to win everyone’s good graces, no one wants anything to do with her. Princess Eugenie’s upcoming wedding to her fiancé Jack Brooksbnk might be Sarah’s one and only chance to convince everyone that she’s not the same person she used to be.

Fitzwilliams told the publication, “Sarah Ferguson has made a seismic effort to regain some of the royal favor she so catastrophically lost. This wedding is her chance to excel and she will be seated with the family. No one has forgotten the past but on this occasion, she will be feted as the mother of the bride.”

If that weren’t enough, reports have also suggested if there is one person who definitely doesn’t approve of Sarah returning to the royal firm, it’s Queen Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Philip. Things are so bad between Sarah and her former father-in-law that Philip has even considered not attending Princess Eugenie’s wedding, simply because he can’t stand the sight of Sarah, let alone be in the same room as her.

Despite all of the animosity, Sarah did attend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding at Windsor Castle back in May. She was spotted arriving at the ceremony by herself, with her ex-husband Prince Andrew and their two daughters Eugenie and Beatrice seated at the chapel much later.

However, she wasn’t invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011. As the mother of the bride, the royal family won’t be able to ignore her, especially during this joyous occasion for Princess Eugenie. But at the same time, it doesn’t look like she will be getting any special access or royal perks from the monarchy, nonetheless.
