The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam’s (Scott Clifton) baby will arrive soon. Soap Opera Digest reported recently that the CBS soapster is looking for a baby to play their newborn child. It looks like the baby will be born okay, at least long enough for the fans to get a glimpse of the tot. Since nobody other than Hope is expecting this baby looks like it will be Lope’s!
There has been Bold and Beautiful buzz that Hope’s baby may not make it and she would lose her pregnancy. The speculation was that Hope would lose her mind and she would drive Liam back into Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) arms. However, it is looking like that probably will not be the case. It looks like Lope’s baby’s birth is really happening.
While The Bold and the Beautiful is looking to cast Hope’s baby, that doesn’t mean her baby will come without any complications. Childbirth and newborn complications are a staple on soap operas and it is a sure way to create drama and emotion. Given Hope’s history with miscarriage, her labor could be risky.
It seems unlikely that the show would kill Hope’s baby. Bold and the Beautiful viewers, or any soap fans really, typically do not like seeing babies or young children die. It seems much more likely, they will have Hope’s baby come early and there will be a question mark if the infant will pull through. And, when Liam pays attention to his daughter, Kelly, it will get under Hope’s skin. It seems to be leading up to more love triangle drama and a fight for daddy time.
The casting call does not reveal how long the infant’s stint would be on the soap opera. Just that the show is looking for a newborn to play a newborn. The casting call asked the newborn to be around three months and they did not list the gender of the baby they were looking for but B&B has already revealed Lope is having a girl.
