The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has even more stress headed her way. She’s had to deal with far too much of it already! First, Steffy faced the guilt and anxiety of her betrayal. She struggled as she awaited the paternity test results. After Liam (Scott Clifton) learned the truth, that brought a confrontation that wasn’t in the baby’s best interest.
Then, Steffy faced another round of guilt and anxiety. This time she was anxious about Liam leaving her forever. Steffy’s still quite stressed about scoring this reunion and Bill’s (Don Diamont) proposal didn’t help the situation. Now Hope’s (Annika Noelle) about to spill the beans to Liam, so that’s sure to take a toll on Steffy as well. Liam isn’t going to be pleased, so it could start this whole cycle over again.
Just how much more of this can Steffy take? The further along this pregnancy gets, the more Steffy’s little girl will be affected. As the birth gets closer, Steffy’s chances of premature labor will increase. Her kid’s going to sense Mom’s mini panic attacks and that could lead to bad news.
B&B has created the perfect storm for a medical crisis, so it’d be silly if they didn’t take advantage of it. Some baby drama is bound to hit sooner or later. In fact, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood dropped a major hint about this in the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest.
Wood talked about Steffy’s skyrocketing stress level and suggested that it could spell trouble if it continues. “The doctor has made it a point that all this stress is not good for the baby,” Wood said. “Steffy needs to be healthy for this baby. The chain of events needs to be broken.”
Naturally, that sparks concerns about what might happen if Steffy can’t get a grip. Her emotions are out of control, so that could take a toll on her daughter. “For weeks now, Steffy has been living in constant fear of something – and that’s no way to live,” Wood said.
That’s certainly true, but Steffy will struggle to live any other way! As long as Liam keeps her at a distance, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say there’s going to be pressure. Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) upcoming arrest and jail stint could add to Steffy’s woes.
