The first singer tonight is Spensha Baker, she already signed with a major record label, toured for three years and at the end, the label dropped her. Her roots are in gospel, but she sees herself as a country artist. Tonight Spensha is singing, “Blackbird.” Kelly and Blake turn their chairs, Adam and Alicia don’t.

Adam: “I love the fact that you took one of my favorite songs and did it your way, I’m sad I didn’t turn around.” Alicia: “You are so special and unique, I loved listening to you.” Kelly: “You were worshipping when you sang that song and I can’t wait for you to pick me and not Blake.” Blake: “I love your slow bravado, I love the fact that you can hang down with low notes, when you pushed the gas it was like whoa. I am celebrating my 14th anniversary as a coach and the greatest gift you could give me is to pick me.” Blake asks Spensha wha type of music she want to perform, she said country and Blake is really excited and tells her he will be honored to be her coach. Spensha choose Blake.

Next up is Alexa Cappelli, She has a powerful voice and she is singing “I’ve Got the Music In Me.” Kelly and Adam turn their chair, Blake and Alicia don’t.

Adam: “I love you, I hope you love me enough to pick me, you were really soulful. What is your favorite music to listen to? (classic rock, Kelly Clarkson)” Alicia: “Alexa you were really sick, phenomenal and the only reason I didn’t turn around is because I am looking for something specific.” Blake: “All I could think of is this girl needs to be with Kelly Clarkson.” Kelly and Alex start singing Kelly’s song, “People Like Us,” and they sound amazing. Alexa choose Kelly.

Adrian Brannan is a cowgirl training in classical opera and she hopes to work with Blake or Kelly focusing on country music. Adrian is singing “Two More Bottles of Wine,” Nobody turns their chairs.

Kelly: “You are so great, I love you. You obviously love country music.” Blake: “I didn’t push my button because some of your words were lost when you were singing.” Alicia: “I love your bravado and you have a beautiful tone.”

Wilkes, is a rocker who started singing in high school. Wilkes is singing “One Headlight.” Blake and Adam turn their chairs, Alicia and Kelly don’t. Adam: “You are a singular singer, I really think I am the one for you.” Kelly: “I just don’t hear rock and roll in there, I hear southern as well. You like country music as well? (Wilkes reveals that he writes country music as well) Your vibe is like Matthew McConaughey.“Blake: “Your voice is so sneaky, the longer the song went on, the more you kept moving the dial up to 10, I am a fan.” Alicia: “I loved your voice as well.” Wilkes chooses Blake.

We get a brief play of three more auditions, one joining Blake and two joining Alicia.

Jaron Strom, is a web designer by day and singer/dancer at night. Jaron is singing “This Magic Moment.” Blake turns his chair, nobody else does. Blake does a happy dance with two thumbs up. Blake: “I knew from the second you started singing that I was into you and you just took it to the next level, I couldn’t stand it if you went home.”

Terrence Cunningham, with a keyboard, Terrence is singing, “My Girl.” All four judges turn their chairs. Kelly: “I just want to sing with you and I’m curious as to why you are not on the radio. You have the most amazing voice, I want you to succeed.” Alicia: “It is like the craziest feeling, if I ever did anything right it was coming on this show and meeting you, I would love to be your coach.” Blake: “You are special, I’ve been doing this for a long time and I would love to be your coach.” Adam: “You don’t need us, we need you and I have never wanted to coach anyone as much as I want to coach you.” Terrance chooses Alicia.
