The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 2, tease that some hot drama’s ahead. For starters, a handsome guest star will bring some heat. Jason Canela will play the role of Arturo, a hunky building contractor. He’ll turn on the charm with a client in Friday’s episode.
Some remodeling is currently underway at the penthouse and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) mentioned getting Nick a little help. His do-it-yourself project may hit some snags, so Arturo could step up to handle the situation. Of course, Arturo could also do some flirting. He might spark some jealous for Nick if he pays a bit too much attention to Chelsea.
Regardless, major trouble is headed Chelsea’s way. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will feel like she’s out of options. J.T. (Thad Luckinbell) will be working on the Chelsea 2.0 case and there’s a good chance his investigation will lead him to Chelsea herself. It seems she’s set up a scam to give herself a backup plan.
Y&R fans can expect a real shocker on Friday. Someone’s alias will be exposed, so maybe this involves an account Chelsea set up to take payments. J.T. might find it under a fake name and realize it’s actually Chelsea. Some serious conflict is about to erupt in Genoa City. Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) are sure to be taken aback by J.T.’s startling discoveries.
Speaking of startling discoveries, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will make one of her own. What kind of bombshell will she uncover? Could this tie in with Chelsea as well? Nikki will make a connection of some sort, so it’s possible she’ll learn the truth about Christian’s (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity.
Since Y&R is trying to rush Chelsea out the door, the proof could suddenly become convenient. However, we probably shouldn’t get our hopes up. That’s probably just the most dramatic possibility. The Young and the Restless could easily go for a less exciting discovery.
This might relate to Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) new job. Nikki’s awfully interested in how Victor’s (Eric Braeden) new hire will fit in at Newman. Based on Thursday’s episode, she seems to think love could bloom for Victor and Ashley again. Nikki’s suspicions could be on the rise soon enough.
