Zapata regretted getting her friends involved. She told them about her secret mission from Keaton and how she had been “fired” from the CIA because her bosses wanted her to infiltrate HCI Global though she took on too much with Madeline Burke. Burke was crazy! She killed her husband, killed the whole board in order to take over the company, and she recently asked for a hacker who was the best of the best. She got Boston instead. Boston had been asked by Zapata and the team to pretend to be a notorious hacker and of course, he couldn’t say “no” to that. He was bored with house arrest and considered the team to be his friends. Zapata even said she would be with him the whole way and so it was just supposed to be one quick job.

Boston was supposed to hack into Bradly Dynamics. Bradley Dynamics was a defense contractor with a ton of contacts and access to vital information. This company also had something that Burke wanted and so she demanded that Boston hack them. He didn’t want to do it because he had only gone in for an interview, but Burke sprung a surprise on him and Zapata. Zapata thought they’d been able to leave and that she would have time to coach Boston. Boston was completely unprepared for being kidnapped and neither of them could get word back to the team. The team had to do some guesswork to find out what was going on. They went to Burke’s office to see if the bug Boston planted was still there.

They saw it in prime position and so they knew that Boston did his part, but they couldn’t figure out what happened to their friends afterward. Boston and Zapata had been taken to an off-the-books site and they had no way of getting into contact. They thought they could carry on with the job and stop short of actually carrying out damage. Boston and Zapata were beginning to collect information on the operation so that they could later use against Burke when out of nowhere Boston realized Burke was stopping them from viewing everything she has. She had caught on to them and so they escaped the fled the first second they could. They were fighting their way out of the building and couldn’t think about what was happening with Burke.

Only Burke mattered. Burke just so happened to have met the real hacker known as Del Toro. He turned himself in when he learned someone was impersonating him and he had no reservations about hacking into Bradly Dynamics or taking down one of their planes. The takedown of this plane was the endgame. The team luckily found the truth on their own. They used the bug that Boston planted and got everything on Madeline Burke. She was setting up Bradly Dynamics. She created fake files detailing how they had to take shortcuts with their latest design and when the plane crashed it would make everyone believe it had been the company at fault, but in truth, it had been her and she was crazy enough to crash the only plane that Bradly Dynamics had been working on.

Madeline Burke planned to crash the new Air Force One. It was being flown to DC where there’ll be a ceremony and the preside took it out on its maiden voyage, but it was currently flying over cities at that very moment. The team knew they needed to get into reach with someone on that plane and unfortunately, the comms were down. The only one they get in contact was Director Weitz. Weitz answered his phone complaining about how he had just been fired and could no longer be told classified information. He was doing the whole “woe is me” dance before the team cut him off and informed him the plane he was on was about to crash. This managed to get Weitz back his common sense and he immediately pushed his way into the pilot’s cabinet so that his team could talk to the pilots.

The pilots didn’t even notice they were being hacked and so they were talked through a test where they could get some answers. They turned off autopilot and tried to fly the plane manually when they saw that they couldn’t. The pilots didn’t have control over the plane and once they tried to reboot it – the air pressure on the plane dropped and they all lost consciousness. The plane was set to crash and so Rich thought he was hoping when he locked out the hacker however he locked out Boston. Boston and Zapata realized what was happening and they gave up their chase of escaping in order to stop the hack. Boston called Rich and he got him to return access. And so Zapata and Boston returned the plane back to the pilots.

Boston had been outside and Zapata had still been in the building when the building blew. Boston was afraid for a while there because he thought Zapata could be dead, but she got out of the building in time and so they were both okay. Everyone on the flight was okay as well and Weitz also got his job back out of all it because of course, he took undue credit. So the team was in prime position to finally take down Madeline Burke.

But Burke got away and no one’s heard from her.

Zapata thinks she could find Burke by going to Zurich and she went alone because she wanted to prove that she could be trustworthy, but she missed out on the last clue from Shepherd.

THE END!
