Tonight on NBC their new law drama Bluff City Law airs with an all-new Monday, November 25, 2019, episode and we have your Bluff City Lawl recap below. Emerson plans a Thanksgiving surprise for Elijah.”

Tonight on Bluff city, 24 hours earlier in court, Sydney is seen in court being asked by a judge the whereabouts of a woman named Layla Hosmani and she refuses to answer. Emerson father’s up the team to record a special message for Elijah.
Jake is seen out with bell watching Sydney on a date and Bell can see he likes her but Jake denies it, he then goes to where Sydney and her date is and comes up with a story to get her out of the date, which is all apart of a plan since she wasn’t enjoying the date.
Sydney is on her way home and is followed by Layla Hosmani a journalist who scares her and asks for Sydney’s help she brings Layla to her dad’s home she’s a blogger who exposes ISIS cells, her father is killed and she escapes Saudi and is now receiving death threats.
They decide to hide her until they figure out a way to help her. Briana is given the task of watching her. The Saudi government is attempting to extradite Layla and is ordered to appear in court. Sydney calls Briana to hide Layla. Later in court we see the judge asking Sydney about Layla’s location and she refuses to tell her and the judge held her in contempt and she is taken to a jail cell.
The judge is played a videotape from Saudi people saying Layla Hosmani a terrorist and led a revolt against the Saudi government. Layla’s brother Farad shows up and testified against her brother saying they planned an attack on the government.
Elijah goes to talk to Sydney and asks her where Layla is so he can go talk to her. Elijah tells Layla that her brother has testified and is being held against his will, she wants to turn herself injust to end it and have her brother returned safely, but Elijah tries to talk her out of it and says he has a way to save Layla and her brother.
Jake helps George prepare to meet his son after he abandoned him as a child they share an emotional moment in the car as Jake tells him that his father left him young as well.
Sydney is released into the court they agree to have Layla testify on video at a remote location at a hotel, but pieces of the location and room number are intentionally left in sight , the Saudi government representative Mr. Fadeek sees this and tells two guards to go and kill Layla, but this is all Elijah’s plan as it’s revealed they already moved Layla to another room and the two guards are greeted by U.S Marshals. Elijah says this proved Layla and her brother are targets that the Saudi government is trying to kill them, after seeing this the prosecutor the decides to grant Layla and her brother political asylum.
The team all gathers at Elijah’s house for dinner. Emerson plays the video where he has each member record a special message for Elijah and he gets emotional.
Jake gets a call to go pick up George and he leaves the dinner and sees George being carried off on a stretcher zipped up in plastic turns out he killed himself. Jake goes to Sydney for comfort and they share a kiss before he runs off.
