Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that we may be getting a “Broe” reunion, but perhaps not in the way you might think. DOOL fans know that Kyle Lowder used to play Brady Black (now played by Eric Martsolf) before he returned as a Rex Brady recast. Back then, Lowder’s Brady was paired up with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Lowder and Bjorlin made “Broe” a popular Days couple, so the show faces an interesting decision here. Do they give Chloe and Brady another shot with Martsolf in the role or point Chloe in Rex’s direction? A Chloe and Rex pairing would allow that classic “Broe” chemistry to shine through. They could reunite the actors and not the traditional characters.
Some new Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that a Rex and Chloe pairing could indeed be looming. After Rex comes back on a mission to win back Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), he’ll end up making things worse. Plus, we know Greg Vaughan (Eric Brady) pretty much hand-picked Linsey Godfrey to portray his love interest after Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Godfrey tested with Vaughan and he was all for it.
That certainly doesn’t suggest Sarah and Rex will be getting back together – at least not anytime soon. The new triangle will likely involve Eric, Sarah and a back-from-the-dead Nicole. As for Brady and Chloe, perhaps they’re better off as friends. Brady has great relationships with women he keeps as pals. It becomes a lot tougher for him once a romance begins.
Brady is pretty much cursed in the love department, so Chloe and Brady would be doomed anyway. There’s no point in spoiling their friendship! Maybe Brady and Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) still have a shot at making it work. Eve obviously isn’t endgame for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), who’s destined to reunite with Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves).
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rex and Chloe will do some chatting during the week of January 14-18. They’ll take some time to catch up and get to know each other again. This could be the start of something big for these two. Will they hit it off and become more than friends soon enough?
