Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some news to pass on about a popular DOOL star. Nadia Bjorlin, who portrays Chloe Lane on the NBC soap, suffered an unfortunate injury this past weekend.
Nadia shared the news about her injury on Instagram, along with a photo of herself being treated by a cosmetic surgeon. It seems that she hit her face on the door of the clothes dryer while doing laundry, and the incident left a mark on her face that could potentially interfere with her work.
Of course, for most of us, a small facial injury would be no big deal. But for an actor who has to be in front of the camera, a facial injury that leaves a visible mark could potentially shut down production of a TV or film project.
Nadia expressed her exasperation with the injury in her post. She said: “Way to end a great holiday weekend…ugh…but thank you to my dear friend @beverly.hills.cosmetic.surgeon for driving to his office on a Sunday night to stitch up my face because I can’t properly transfer the washing into the dryer without hitting my face on the door of the dryer. That’s what I get for trying to be productive.”
Nadia also included the following hashtags on her message that shed some light onto her plight: #momlife #help #actorlife @workingthisweekandcantbeinjured #hatestackedwasherdryer #momfail #thankyoudoctorfardad.
Nadia has received lots of comments on her post, most of which expressed well-wishes for quick healing. Nadia’s friend Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers, Y&R) offered her support by repling to the post with: “Wait!!!!! WTF!! I need to come over there!!!”
And another follower named Angela responded with humor by saying: “Just call it flesh-eating bacteria and throw a bandage over it.” As long time DOOL viewers will remember, Nadia’s character Chloe suffered serious facial scarring years ago due to a flesh-eating bacteria that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) exposed her to. Nadia then replied to the comment with: “Well played, Angela…. well played….”
