Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will get some infuriating news next week. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has already returned to town, but he intends to keep a low profile until his legal issues are cleared up. He’s confident that he’ll be off the hook and in charge at Titan in no time.
Xander will keep himself busy at the mansion by drinking, parading around shirtless and scheming with Leo Starke (Greg Rikaart). However, it won’t be long until word of Xander’s survival gets out. When Eric learns Xander’s alive, he’ll have a total meltdown. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric will blow his top and set out on a mission to make Xander pay.
DOOL fans know that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was presumed dead in the explosion. Eric was absolutely devastated by her demise, which won’t stick since Nicole’s headed back to Days soon. Nevertheless, Eric’s grief and anger will come roaring back thanks to Xander. He’ll think it’s unfair that the person who put Nicole in that mess survived while she perished.
You can bet Xander will be his usual smug self when Eric confronts him. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that won’t fly with an enraged Eric. He’ll physically attack Xander, so they’ll probably end up on the ground in a fierce fight. Xander and Eric both have some muscle to back them up, but Eric will have the fury over Nicole’s death on his side. That could give him the upper hand in this brutal brawl.
Of course, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) may intervene once again. She was quick to stop Eric’s last fight with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), so she may appear and shut this one down, too. Violence just isn’t going to solve anything. In fact, Eric might want to avoid riling Xander up. Since Xander survived the explosion, he might have some answers about how Nicole survived as well.
It’s easy to imagine a bloody Xander taunting Eric with that info. Xander certainly doesn’t have to tell Eric anything if he doesn’t want to. Still, Eric could get a crucial clue eventually. Will he realize there’s more to Nicole’s “death” than meets the eye? Will Eric begin to doubt that Nicole died in that fire? This could kick off another desperate search effort and bring Nicole back on canvas.
