Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will face heartbreak when her chance at romance is yanked away. Just as Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) finally surrenders to his feelings for Sarah, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will come back into his life. The moment when they first reunite is sure to be a powerful one.
Sarah will immediately realize this isn’t going to work out well for her. How can she measure up to Eric’s soul mate, who’s suddenly come back from the dead? Of course, Days of Our Lives spoilers say it may not be quite that easy for “Ericole.” It’s a tricky situation since they can’t just put Eric and Nicole back together without obstacles. They’ll still want to bring some drama.
At the same time, Sarah hasn’t really established herself as strong enough competition. She hasn’t known Eric all that long and he’s spent most of his time fighting his feelings for her. They’re just barely getting started now, so why would Eric pick Sarah over Nicole – the love of his life?
Eric might drag his feet on recommitting to Nicole in hopes of protecting Sarah’s feelings. Then again, things could be complicated due to Nicole’s presumed death. If she stayed away by choice, that could be a hurtful issue for “Ericole” to get past.
However, the truth is Eric and Nicole have overcome far worse than that. Since Nicole is sticking around long-term, there’s no way DOOL will keep them apart indefinitely. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah may end up alone since she doesn’t really love Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). Whether she dumps him or he dumps her, that’s not meant to be either.
Sarah could head down a bitter path after all these unlucky breaks in love. She might as well choose someone like Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), who’ll be returning to Salem soon. Xander and Sarah had a hot hookup and many Days fans loved their sizzling chemistry.
Sarah might even find herself angry enough to pick Xander out of spite. It would be a nice dose of payback for Eric, who absolutely loathes the man. Then again, Sarah may just be fed up with guys she thought were Mr. Right. She might go with Mr. Wrong and discover he’s exactly what she’s needed all along.
