Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that love will be in the air for February sweeps. Valentine’s Day falls in this exciting window, so we’ve definitely got some romantic drama to look forward to. Two DOOL characters aren’t an official item right now, but that won’t stop them from seeking some special time together. They’ll just need a little help to make their lovely evening happen.
Of course, we’re talking about Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith). They’re miserable since Leo Starke (Greg Rikaart) blackmailed his way into becoming Sonny’s husband. Leo’s mother, Diana Cooper (Judith Chapman), will soon arrive in town, so that’ll give Will and Sonny some hope. They’re counting on Diana to be awful as Leo claims.
Diana will certainly be a thorn in Leo’s side, but don’t count him out just yet. Leo will inevitably lose his leverage sooner or later, but he’ll put up a fierce fight. In fact, Diana’s presence may make Leo more determined to dig his heels in. He may want to prove that Diana no longer has power over him.
Regardless, this plan won’t exactly be a rapid success story for Will and Sonny. Days of Our Lives spoilers say it’ll be a slow process, which will leave Sonny and Will apart for a while. They’ll hate the idea of spending Valentine’s Day away from each other, but how can they change that? If they can keep Leo busy and out of their hair, Will and Sonny will have a shot at spending this holiday together.
That’s where Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) comes in. DOOL fans know Gabi has been pretty rotten lately. She tampered with Charlotte DiMera’s paternity test results and made everyone believe Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) had gone off the deep end again. Gabi is barely even sorry, so she’s certainly not a squeaky-clean character.
However, Gabi still has a softer side. She’s a good mom to Arianna Horton (Harper and Sydnee Udell) and she’s rooting for “WilSon.” Gabi, Will, Sonny and Ari are a strong family unit. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will want to help the guys out. She’ll think Sonny and Will deserve a happy Valentine’s Day after everything they’ve gone through.
Days spoilers say Gabi will take one for the team. She doesn’t have anyone special to spend Valentine’s Day with this year, so she’ll have plenty of free time. Gabi will agree to provide a distraction. Leo may be gay, but he thinks Gabi is just great. Even when she was rude to him, Leo suggested that her “bitchiness” only makes her “more fabulous.”
Perhaps Gabi will contact Leo about some bogus project. Leo loves flashy suits, so this might involve some men’s line expansion at Gabi Chic. Gabi could make Leo believe that his fashion expertise is needed. Leo is awfully confident in his sense of style, so he’d have no trouble buying that.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Leo will indeed be distracted for a few hours. That’ll give Will and Sonny just enough time to celebrate Valentine’s Day properly. Gabi will also do her good deed, so at least we’ll see a little hint of redemption.
