Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail Deveraux (Kate Mansi) will find herself in one of the worst nightmares possible. Her infant daughter Charlotte DiMera will be kidnapped. All of the worst possible scenarios will go through her mind, and she’ll be truly distraught.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will no doubt pull out all the stops to find his little girl. He’ll consider the usual suspects, including Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher), but it seems that neither will be the culprit. And that will mean that Charlotte could be anywhere. Abigail will be terrified, and she and Chad will embark on a frantic search to find her.
Chad will have DiMera resources to aid in the police search, so there won’t be much for Abigail to do but to sit and worry about her precious daughter. Of course, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will be by her side during the ordeal, but it seems that someone else will step up to the plate and reach out to Abigail as well…Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
Jack was initially resistant to bond with Abigail. In fact, when she initially approached Jack at his hotel room shortly after he returned to Salem, he was hesitant to connect with her at all. He’s been much more comfortable chatting and getting to know JJ than Abigail. And we haven’t seen Jack have any interest whatsoever in his grandchildren thus far.
But it seems that Charlotte’s kidnapping may spark Jack’s interest in Abigail and his grandchildren. He’ll realize that his own flesh and blood is missing and could be in serious danger, and he may extend a hand to Abigail and Chad to help in any way that he can.
Perhaps Abigail and Jack can finally come together and start acting like father and daughter again. It would be under horrible circumstances, but Abigail could certainly use the family support…even though Jack can’t remember anything about her.
