Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, January 23, tease that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will do some bonding. They’ll meet up for a chat and actually start to grow closer. They’re obviously at a disadvantage since Jack can’t remember his family or any memories they’ve made, but they’ll manage to form a connection anyway.
Of course, there’ll still be some tension when it comes to Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). Every time Jack expresses doubts about Eve and her plans, she ends up reeling him back in. Right now, Eve’s using a possible mayoral run as a distraction. Jack may mention the idea to JJ on Wednesday, but his son will immediately have concerns. JJ has enough experience with Eve to know when she has an agenda!
Meanwhile, Eve will have another showdown with Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). Days of Our Lives spoilers say they’ll go to war over Jack and what’s best for him. Eve will insist she’s the woman Jack needs, but Jennifer won’t buy that. She’ll think this is all about revenge, so she’ll vow to get Eve out of Jack’s life as soon as possible.
Across town, Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) will catch Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) off guard. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ted will strut over to Kate and reveal that he’s back in Salem. He’ll mention that they used to have fun together before he got caught up in Stefan DiMera’s (Tyler Christopher) drama.
It’s Kate’s fault that Stefan made Ted’s life a nightmare, but he may admit he deserved her betrayal. Regardless, Ted will be looking for a clean state. These two were mostly bedroom buddies at first, but there was a hint of something real later. Starting up their romance again would probably be too complicated, but Ted will at least want a chance at redemption in Kate’s eyes.
Kate isn’t known for being kind and forgiving, so she may not think redemption is possible. That’s especially true since sleazy Ted will express interest Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso). Days spoilers say Kate will offer a reminder in Wednesday’s DOOL episode. She’ll point out that Hope is married, but that won’t matter to Ted. He’s a man who goes after what he wants, so he’ll press on with his pursuit.
Finally, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will take a trip to the hospital. A minor injury will put him in Haley Chen’s (Thia Megia) orbit, so expect sparks to fly. Tripp and Haley will do some intense flirting, but what about JJ? Haley will remain most drawn to the dashing Deveraux for now, but anything can happen down the road!
