General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) feature story at Crimson will move forward. Of course, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) nearly blew the deal! It was nice to see someone besides Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) call Ava out, but those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Is Jax really any better than Ava if you look at his history?
Just consider how many crimes Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) has gotten away with because of Jax. GH fans will recall how Jax helped Jerry after the Metro Court hostage crisis. Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) died, Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) was shot, part of the hotel was blow up and Jerry was allowed to escape.
Jax also covered for Jerry when he attacked Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in Mexico and shot him. Jerry almost killed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) at the same time. Plus, Jerry tried to kill Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) on a ship and even poisoned the Port Charles water supply. What did Jax do to stop him? Not a single thing! Jax has only helped Jerry out of his jams.
Trying To Get Along With Ava Jerome
General Hospital fans know Ava is a murderer. She killed Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) in cold blood to cover Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) identity. Ava then framed A.J. Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) for murder, pushed Sonny into shooting him and tampered with A.J.’s ventilator in the hospital.
Ava messed with both Sonny and Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) medication knowing they were bipolar, so she was putting their lives at risk. Even so, we might be dealing with a level playing field here. Ava isn’t a good person, but how is allowing your brother to murder and injure people any better?
General Hospital spoilers say Jax will try to get along with Ava for the sake of the Crimson article. It’s fitting since Jax and Ava are actually a lot alike. Jax has the same holier than thou attitude that Ava has. He also has the same sense of entitlement and seems to think he’s just a bit better than everyone else.
Jasper Jax Hates Sonny Corinthos
Jax has hated Sonny from the get-go. He tried to push a distraught Sonny into committing suicide at one point. Jax also tried to send Sonny to prison for a crime he knew Michael committed. He could give Ava lessons on underhanded practices, and she would probably learn a great deal from him.
Ava may be despicable, but Jax is about the last person who should be calling her out. Instead of berating Ava, Jax might make a good match for her. There appeared to be some chemistry there – or at least the potential for some if GH chooses to go in that direction.
Ava could even try to score Jax knowing how much Carly would hate it. Jax isn’t always the best at controlling his desires and emotions, so he might cave in. That’s especially true if things hit a snag with Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford). Some General Hospital viewers are rooting for some angry Ava and Jax sex on social media! It could even turn into something more.
