General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that two ABC soap stars have booked another exciting role. GH fans love when Ava and Grace Scarola pop up as Avery Corinthos. It’s always a real treat to see little Avery interacting with her loved ones. She’s eager to meet her new sibling once Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) gives birth his fall – if the delivery pans out that is!
However, it turns out the Scarola twins have something to look forward to in real life as well: their debut on a CBS All Access series. Ava and Grace will play the role of Emily in Why Women Kill. The crime show offers a fascinating look at three women dealing with infidelity in three different decades. One is a housewife in the ‘60s, another is a socialite in the ‘80s and the third is a lawyer in 2018.
Created by Marc Cherry, this interesting original series blends comedy and drama in some surprising ways. The premiere is happening on August 15, but Emily won’t appear until October 10. If you’re looking for something new to watch and you like female-driven crime shows, this one sounds right up your alley. The Scarola twins should be the perfect addition to their great cast.
Of course, Ava and Grace also recently booked a role on Grand Hotel. That happens to be one of the shows Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) landed on following his stint at General Hospital. It’s nice to see GH stars of the past and present finding fun gigs to keep them busy.
As for the Scarola twins, the onscreen TV dad is thrilled for them. Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) addressed their Why Women Kill role on Twitter with some sweet words for the duo. “I’m a proud dad yes,” Benard tweeted. It’s clear that Benard adores working with the girls and many of his other costars.
