General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) serious illness provides an interesting opportunity. So far, it looks like Sasha will survive and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) September wedding to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will proceed as planned. GH probably wouldn’t keep hyping up the date so much if it wasn’t going to happen.
That means Valentin should face some close calls, but he’ll likely keep the fake daughter secret under wraps – at least from Nina. However, this part of the plot will be a total waste if no one else finds out. What would be the real point of Sasha getting sick if it doesn’t progress the story in some way?
This ordeal will pull Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) closer to Nina, but that was bound to happen anyway. Since the wedding will probably still proceed as planned, Jax shouldn’t be enough of a threat to derail “Valentina” just yet. General Hospital is seemingly still laying the groundwork for things to blow up at the nuptials. It’s what happens between now and then that could get interesting.
Sasha has a strain of influenza that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) haven’t see before. They’re working hard to make sure Sasha pulls through, but General Hospital spoilers say she’ll still be in a dire situation during the week of August 12-16. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was really starting to fall for Sasha and she was starting to fall for him, too. He’ll certainly be worried Sasha isn’t going to make it.
Michael Corinthos Has Received A Clue From Sasha Gilmore
Fans will recall that Michael got a clue from Sasha during another stint at GH. She was drugged up and out of it when she admitted she wished Nina were her real mom. That could be a hint that comes back into play soon enough. As Sasha declines, will she once again make some delirious ramblings?
Sasha is currently in isolation, but an antidote might be headed her way soon enough. Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) may have a deal in mind for Valentin and Nina. Even if Michael isn’t given the all clear, he could still sneak in for a visit. It’s clear that Sasha’s ordeal is tugging at Michael’s heartstrings right now. He’s feeling sympathetic, which could really help Sasha out if her secret’s exposed.
Could Sasha inadvertently reveal the truth to Michael? What would he do with the secret? Michael’s a kindhearted guy and again, he’ll be feeling sympathetic over these next couple weeks. Is there a chance Michael could learn the whole story and show some compassion?
It wouldn’t be the first Michael did that with a girlfriend. He might be wary after what happened with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), but it’s clear that Sasha is keeping her secret out of love.
Game Could Change Once The “Wiley Cooper-Jones” Shocker Hits
Michael might realize how devastated Nina would be if she learned the daughter lie. He could mostly blame Valentin for getting Sasha caught up in all this. It’d be a nice twist to have Michael keep a secret about someone’s child considering Nelle’s keeping him out of the loop on his own.
Of course, the game could change after the “Wiley Cooper-Jones” shocker hits. That could convince Michael that Sasha’s lie must be exposed and set up that wedding chaos we mentioned. Michael will certainly be riled up and out of control if the Jonah bomb drops around that time. He may view the whole world as a deceptive rotten place. Michael could want all the liars to go down!
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say there’s a reason for Sasha’s medical emergency. Sympathy is a big part of it, but it could also be a setup for Michael or another Port Charles resident to learn the truth. We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
