General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is in quite the situation. She thought her son Jonah Corinthos was safe on the outside with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes).
But now she’s heard from Lorraine “Harmony” Miller (Inga Cadranel) that her baby might be in serious danger of being ripped from Brad and Lucas’ care, since Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) is under the belief that he’s the child’s biological father.
Nelle seemed pretty upset when she heard about Shiloh and his interest in her son, especially after she learned that he was a sexual predator. In fact, she was so upset that she seriously considered telling Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) everything about how the babies were switched and that Jonah is really alive and living as Wiley Cooper-Jones.
Nelle Benson Won’t Sit Back And Let The Situation Play Out
But according to GH spoilers, she’ll be stopped as she’s about to spill the details, and it looks like she’ll then decide to handle the situation another way.
One has to wonder exactly what Nelle will do from here. She surely won’t sit back and just let the situation play out with her son; she won’t want to risk Shiloh getting his hands on Jonah. She may decide that she’ll tell the truth about Wiley being Jonah only if he absolutely has to, but in the meantime, she’ll likely pursue other options.
But what will Nelle do? Well, from her perspective, she might want to get some solid advice about handling Shiloh. She might be able to glean some details from Harmony here and there, but she’ll have to be careful in what she says and how much she prods for information. And anyway, Harmony’s really not the best person to get ideas from for how to handle Shiloh, since she was duped by him for years.
Will Nelle Benson Enlist New Friend Ryan Chamberlain For Help?
Instead, Nelle might go to someone else for advice…her new prison friend, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). She could use Ryan as a sounding board, and he would be someone that she could probably confide in. Ryan seems to like Nelle, and he probably wouldn’t readily betray her confidence. He’d probably sympathize with her plight, and he might even admire the fact that she was devious enough to switch out babies in the first place.
Besides, Ryan recently did something very interesting…he picked up a copy of the DOD book that Shiloh wrote, and chances are he devoured every page, so he’s probably picked up some insight on Shiloh. He might be able to advise Nelle on Shiloh’s motivations and characteristics – something that might help her figure out a way to combat Shiloh’s desire to get hold of Wiley/Jonah.
It will be interesting to see whether Nelle seeks out Ryan’s assistance and counsel on the matter of protecting her son from Shiloh. Both Ryan and Nelle have devious minds, and together they could come up with some plan to neutralize Shiloh in a way that nobody else could do or could see coming!
