General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will have to navigate the difficult grief ahead. Thankfully, she’ll have some help from her family and friends. Joss will still face some difficulties, but at least her loved ones can offer support along the way.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Eden McCoy opened up about what’s next for Josslyn and how Oscar Nero’s (Garren Stitt) death will affect her GH character moving forward. For starters, this time of mourning will bring Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) back into the picture. McCoy made it clear that she was thrilled about that.
“Ingo just has the best energy and he’s really a light to everyone around him,” McCoy said. She added that for Joss, Jax’s General Hospital comeback is a necessary part of her healing. “Josslyn really needs her dad,” McCoy insisted. “She has suffered so much loss and…Jax is exactly what she needed.”
McCoy also talked about how Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be there for Joss during the next few months. She admitted that Josslyn doesn’t know how to put one foot in front of the other right now, but she’ll hang in there. As for the storyline itself, McCoy’s enjoying the chance to dig deeper. It’s brought some similarities for McCoy and her character.
“This is a life-changing experience for Josslyn because she’s only 16 years old, but for the adults she’s surrounded by, they’ve had 17 of these storylines, so there’s a parallel between Josslyn’s world and Eden’s world,” McCoy said. She discussed how great it’s been to get advice from her older costars as she dives into all this drama.
Of course, McCoy has also been working with Billy Miller (Drew Cain) and Tamara Braun (Dr. Kim Nero) more often. She praised their talent and suggested that it’s been nice having so much emotional material with them. They’ve all been doing some powerful stuff, and McCoy appreciates the opportunity.
“I feel like I don’t even have to act when I’m around them because they’re so good and so real,” McCoy said.
