General Hospital Spoilers: Tyler Christopher Reveals The Truth About a GH Return as Nikolas Cassadine

General Hospital (GH) spoilers has some news to pass on about a fan-favorite GH star that many fans would like to see back on the show. Tyler Christopher, who portrayed Nikolas Cassadine on the ABC soap and most recently portrayed Stefan DiMera on NBC’s Days of Our Lives, was interviewed by Soap Opera News and during the interview he addressed the possibility of returning to General Hospital as Nikolas Cassadine.

Of course, the possibility of a Nikolas return tends to get GH fans excited, and with good reason. Many viewers would love to see him reunite with his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) and mom Laura Collins (Genie Francis). And they’d love to see him come back to settle the score with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who shot and killed Nikolas back in 2016.

But it seems that a lot of stars would have to align for Nikolas to return to GH, and for Tyler Christopher to portray Nikolas once again. Tyler has been busy since his departure from the role of Stefan at Days of Our Lives. In the interview article, he discussed his work as Executive VP of Development for SkipStone Pictures, which produces family friendly content for movies and TV. It’s a new role for him, and he loves it.

Tyler’s also got other projects going on, including a movie called “Max Winslow and the House of Secrets,” which is about a group of teenagers who compete against a supercomputer to win a mansion. So, he’s certainly keeping busy, but what about a possible Nikolas return to GH?

Well, during the interview, Tyler was asked whether Nikolas was ever going to return to GH, and he responded with the following: “I’m open to it. But there haven’t been any talks about a return.”

So while there aren’t any current plans for a Nikolas return with Tyler in the role, it’s great to hear that Tyler is open to the possibility should he be asked. By the way, although Tyler has been involved in an executive role for SkipStone Pictures, he stated clearly that he wants to continue working as an actor.

Specifically, he stated, “I will always act. I love the hat I’m wearing, but when the acting juices some, I have to do something with it.” That’s great to hear, and we certainly look forward to seeing what acting gigs come next for him.

And we’ll keep hoping for a Nikolas return. Would you like to see Tyler come back to GH in the role? Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, updates, and news.
