Luang Prabang, Laos; nine teams remain and Leo & Jamal are the first team to get their next clue, they fly to Vietnam; they have to book their travel itineraries On The Go with the Travelocity app. All teams will leave Laos and fly south to Vietnam. When they land they have to pick up a packet of herbal remedies from a doctor in the house of Vietnamese medicine; this will be there next clue.
Since everyone is on the same flight, they all start at the same place again, this gives the teams in the back a chance to catch up. Chris and Brett are going to try a different strategy, race with some of the rest of the pack.
Rachel and Elissa apologize to Becca and Floyd for U-turning them, then try to make a Big Brother alliance with Janelle and Britney, Nicole and Victor.
Victor has no problem making the alliance if it ensures that he and Nicole don’t get U-turned, but he doesn’t trust them because this race is for a million dollars.
Teams arrive in Vietnam and everyone is scrambling to get a taxi, getting the right one can make them or break them.
Floyd has bad memories of Vietnam, last time he was here with the race, he got heat stroke and they were eliminated from the race.
Colin & Christie are in the first place. They receive their next clue from the doctor, it is a Detour; Reel It In where they have to catch eight slippery prawns or Light It Up, they get to light up the dance floor and stay in step with Vietnam’s top dance crew.
Chris & Bret are in the last place. Tyler & Korey are the first to arrive and choose to go fishing; they both find it intimidating. Floyd & Becca are the first to lean the dance movies and Floyd is thrilled to find out that they have to wear a suit that lights up, they fail their first attempt because they lack energy.
Leo & Jamal, Janelle & Britney are all lost and falling behind.
Floyd & Becca finish their Detour and are in first place at the moment. Other teams are finding it harder than what they thought to finish the dance.
Meanwhile, Korey finally caught a prawn when Corinne and Eliza show up. Fishing is a game of patience and Eliza is lacking.
At the dancing Detour, teams are finding it hard because if they fail, they have to stand in line with the other teams and wait for another chance to try.
Next is a Road Block, “Who is ready to tune out?” where one member of each team has to learn a Vietnamese karaoke song. Becca & Floyd are leading and Floyd decides to learn the song. On the first try, Floyd does it! Next for these two is to head to the Pit Stop at HO THI KY, the last team to find Phil in this bustling market may be eliminated.
Tyler & Korey catch all their prawns and get their next clue. Art & James give up on dancing and start fishing. Janelle & Britney, Rachel & Elissa complete their dances and get their clues. Meanwhile, Leo & Jamal are exhausted and having a hard time dancing.
Leo & Jamal finally complete the dance, they are overwhelmed and still in the last place. Learning the karaoke is difficult for some and maybe this is a chance for them to catch up.
Becca & Floyd are team number one, they have won a trip for two to the Bahamas; six nights. Redemption has never felt so good for this team.
Nicole & Victor are team number two., Colin & Christie team number three. Tyler & Korey are team number four, Corinne & Eliza team number five, Janelle & Britney team number six, Rachel & Elissa are in seventh place, Leo & Jamal in the eighth.
The last team to arrive is Chris & Bret, Phil tells them that this is a non-elimination race. In the next leg, there will be a speed bump that they will have to complete.
