The Bachelorette airs on ABC this evening with an all-new Monday, July 29, 2019, episode and we have your weekly The Bachelorette recap below. On tonight’s season 15 episode 11 called, “S15 Finale: Part 1,” as per the ABC synopsis, “Hannah spends time with Peter in a luxury yacht; Hannah had a spa day with Tyler and is hoping to improve their emotional relationship; Hannah and Jed talks about her other relationships.”

Three men are standing at a Rose Ceremony in Greece after Luke P. shockingly walked in on them and disrupted Hannah from giving out the roses. The three are shocked, they can’t believe what Luke P. had the nerve to do. Hannah is trying to gather her thoughts and continue. She has no regrets having sent home Luke P. but her heart hurts because she has three men who she sees herself spending the rest of her life with.
Jed doesn’t know what will happen, he has put his heart on the line. Hannah is everything that Tyler wanted, he feels like they have a connection and doesn’t want it to end. Peter has never felt this intensely for anyone and can 100% see Hannah as his wife.
Hannah is back, she tells the men they are all amazing and she is lucky to be loved so much by them. They have opened their hearts, their families to her and she feels so blessed to have them all in her life. She goes on to say there is an end game and she has to go on and make the hard decisions. Hannah picks up the first rose and gives it to Jed. The second rose goes to Tyler.
Chris tells Peter to take a moment and say his goodbyes. Wow, what a shocker!
We are back in the studio, Peter is with Chris and they watched that part back, Peter is in tears and Chris says that he knows he was very much in love with Hannah. Peter says that he had no doubt that it was going to be them in the end, he is still trying to get over it. Chris tells him that this is tough for his family too, Peter agrees and says they are a wonderful support system for him.
Peter says that for him, having two other guys there and opening up completely to her – that was tough. Peter goes on to say that he can’t completely fall out of love with Hannah, time will heal all wounds, but a little piece of him will always love her. Chris says that he is going to being out Hannah soon, Peter lets out a big sigh and says he has been thinking of this for a long time and looks forward to seeing her face to face and putting closer to this.
Hannah comes on to the stage and gives Peter a brief hug. Peter has the floor; he goes back to the Netherlands and forward to the hometowns, it went so incredibly well, and then to Crete and waking up beside her. He wants to know the turning point when she knew it wasn’t him. Hannah says there wasn’t anything wrong and she wishes she could give him a clear concrete answer. She goes on to say it was just that morning of the Rose Ceremony, she woke up and followed her heart. She says that she felt he was afraid to love her and apprehensive about sharing his feelings, she wished she had known sooner.
Chris says that goodbye was one of the most difficult for Hannah; she admits it was because she was falling in love with him and everything they had was real. Peter says he wouldn’t have changed anything, and he understands how hard it was for her, being with other men. Hannah admits to Peter that she was a little bit dishonest about something, she and Peter did something, not twice, but four times. Chris says, “somewhere Luke P.’s head just exploded.” Peter ends it with, “Hannah, Jesus still loves us.” Hilarious!
We go back to Crete, Hannah’s parents are there to meet the men. First, they are going to meet Tyler. Hannah describes him as the glue for his family.
Tyler arrives, everyone sits down and he tells Hannah’s family that she is amazing and they should be proud of her. Hannah reveals to her family that Tyler has taken ballet lessons. Hannah’s mother thinks she glows with Tyler; she goes to spend a little time alone with Tyler. He tells her at first he wondered what he got himself into. She asks if there have been disagreements, he says not but they have had serious talks.
Tyler now spends time with Hannah’s dad who asks him what is his take on the fantasy suite. Tyler says it was all about getting to know her and not about sex. Tyler says his father got really sick before he came on the show, and he wants to be the father of Hannah’s kids.
Hannah is with her dad and she tells him that the fantasy suite is when it clicked for her. Her mom says that she is happy that Tyler will make her happy.
Hannah steps outside with Tyler and tells him that he has been so vulnerable with her, and she hasn’t been as much with him; she tells him that she is falling in love with him and she wanted to tell him that. Her feelings for him snuck up on her, she is so surprised.
Its Jed’s turn to meet Hannah’s parents. Hannah’s mom says she will give Jed a fair shot, but Tyler set the bar really high. Jed tells everyone that he is a songwriter and singer, that is the path that he has chosen. Hannah’s dad sits down with Jed, asks what his goals are in life. Jed says he gave up a lot of opportunities to follow his dream, he moved to Nashville. One of the things is providing for Hannah, Jed says his goal is to have as many facets of income and backup plans; and he signed a deal recently with a dog food company to write jingles. Her father says that marriage is a one-time deal and he is a man who works 14-16 hours a day to make sure that happens. Jed feels confused, he was hoping her father would see how comfortable and happy how he and Hannah were, but they seem more interested in the financial aspect of it. Jed sits down her mom, and it is the same kind of conversation. Jed ends up feeling inadequate.
Hannah’s mom asks her if she has given thought to what life would be with Jed, singing in bars late at night. As a mom, she feels that Tyler has it more together.
Hannah appreciates her parent’s concern for her, but this has nothing to do with them, it has to do with what is going on in her heart.
Hannah’s father tells her that she is his number one priority and he worried about Jed, that he won’t be able to provide for her. He says he is trying to be honest, he doesn’t want her to just settle.
Hannah is so scared, she thinks whoever she ends up within the end, she won’t be able to forget the other person. Jed finds Hannah outside by the water. She tells Jed that it went really well when Tyler met her parents and now she is confused. She wants to make sure she is seeing everything with a clear vision. Jed tells her that he believes in them, but more than anything, he believes in her. He says they know what they have, and that is what scares him more than anything. Hannah is really nervous, two people are in her heart at the same time and she doesn’t want to make the wrong decision. This brings in a lot of doubt and fear.
Its time for the final dates, Tyler is first. Hannah tells him that she has a fun day planned and there is one challenge; they are going horseback riding. Tyler is afraid of horses, but he is going to go for it. The two head out onto a path. The last time Hannah was with Tyler, they were with her family. Hannah feels that since she told Tyler that she is falling in love with him that it just seems right. They stop for a picnic and talk about when he met her parents; he really liked them.
Hannah says that they really liked him a lot and were confident in the way he was so confident and driven. Tyler thanks her for pushing him to that level where he could open up to her family. Hannah is so happy with Tyler, she thinks he is so sweet and kind, funny, and a guy who will make sure she is taken care of. Hannah can definitely see a future with Tyler. It’s evening, the two get changed and meet to talk. Tyler says he is so happy to hear how her family responded to him, it felt amazing. Hannah says that the whole week is hitting her, it is over, but it really is just beginning. Tyler says they need to talk about what life holds for them after this. He knows they can be kickass after this, together. He says he doesn’t want to lose these feelings, she makes him happy and he doesn’t see that changing.
Everything is looking really good for Tyler, but there is one more man.
Its time for Hannah’s last date with Jed, they meet at the dock. Hannah is anxious, the last time they were together, things didn’t get too well with her family. Hannah tells him that they are going to celebrate all they have gone through by going on a boat tour. The water is really rocky and Hannah is having a hard time, she starts throwing up over the side. She also doesn’t feel that great because of the uncertainty of everything. Jed says this is the most nervous he has felt so far, she agrees. Jed says he is thinking about how she has feelings for someone else and at the end, it could not be him. And, her dad didn’t believe in him. Jed says her father doesn’t understand what he does, he didn’t really go into it. It really is setting in, Hannah is really anxious, the end is really near and she doesn’t know what she is going to do. She gets up and walks away from Jed, she is really sad, she is going to break someone’s heart and it could be his.
Its evening time, Hannah goes to Jed’s room. He apologizes to her in advance and tells her that he is doing the best he can. He was sad that she was seasick and knows that it was more than that. He cannot in any part of himself picture his life without her. She says she felt very loved by him, but her dad was very skeptical about the music thing. She says it is scary that they both follow their passions, but at one point, one will end up having to sacrifice for the other. He says whatever life gives them, he will step up. He wants more than anything to take care of, through thick and thin. You can really see how much she loves him.
Hannah has a tough decision to make. After tonight, just thinking about this week – Hannah doesn’t know if she has the clarity she needs for a proposal. So many feelings are in each relationship, she knows that she is loved deeply by both men.
Chris is back on stage with Hannah, she says she knows there are a lot of rumors out there, but she doesn’t know what is going to happen tomorrow night.
