The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, October 18 – Hope and Steffy Fight Over Loses – Ridge Stunned By Shauna’s News

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Friday, October 18, tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will have some explaining to do. As B&B viewers know, he took Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) over to Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) home for a visit. And while there, he had a heart-to-heart with Steffy, who opened up about her feelings about Beth and her resolve to go ahead with her life. But when Steffy indicated that things were over between she and Liam, Liam hesitated.

It looked like a classic Liam waffling moment, and Steffy immediately noticed and wondered whether she and Liam could possibly “do this” again, meaning rekindle their relationship. On Friday’s episode, Liam will have to explain himself, and chances are he’ll let Steffy know that he’s happily with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) now. Of course, that probably won’t come as a big shocker to Steffy, who hasn’t seemed to bank on Liam ever coming back to her.

But later, Steffy will have another encounter, and this one won’t go as well as her interaction with Beth and Liam. She’ll encounter Hope, and the two women will wind up arguing. It seems that Hope may come to the cliff house after learning where Liam took Beth, but at any rate the two women will end up in the same air space and it won’t turn out well.

According to B&B spoilers, Hope and Steffy will go down a painful path when they start comparing notes on their respective losses of Beth. That seems like a conversation that doesn’t need to happen, but apparently it will, with Steffy pointing out how she suffered when she lost “Phoebe Forrester” and Hope arguing that nothing could compare to the pain of thinking that Beth had died.

And once they’ve gone down the Beth path, they’ll talk about their respective losses of Liam. Steffy will probably point out how she has lost not only Liam and the daughter she adopted, but she’s also lost a full-time dad to Kelly Spencer (Chloe Teperman and Zoe Pennington). She might also argue that Hope is now living the dream, so she shouldn’t really complain.

At any rate, it’s bound to be an explosive argument, and it probably won’t help their hopes and dreams of a cozy extended/blended family. But on the other hand, there are probably feelings that need to get out in the open and perhaps this will be the beginning of an open dialogue.

Meanwhile, on the new episode of B&B on Friday, October 18, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will have cause for alarm. As B&B viewers know, he recently learned a disturbing detail about his drunken evening with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards)…that Shauna planted a big kiss on him and he kissed her back. Of course, this came after he had told Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) that absolutely nothing had happened that night.

Now Ridge is in the uncomfortable position of having another secret from Brooke, which makes him quite nervous. But he’ll get even more disturbed when Shauna lays another bombshell on him. According to B&B spoilers, Shauna will tell Ridge that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) also knows about their shared kiss. That will probably strike fear in Ridge, who really wants to keep the kiss a secret from Brooke – after all, if Brooke were to find out about the kiss, it could mean the end of their marriage.

Now the next step will be for Ridge to talk with Thomas about the kiss. Of course, Thomas will likely promise to keep the secret for his father, as he’ll want to keep his dad believing in him and in his corner. But B&B viewers know that Thomas has also asked Shauna to help him break up Brooke and Ridge, so he’s going to use that secret to his advantage, totally unbeknownst to Ridge.

It sounds like a lot of B&B drama is heating up for Friday’s episode, so stay tuned! We’ll give you updates as B&B news comes in. Stick with the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, updates, and news.
