The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Katie Forrester (Heather Tom) will soon find herself in a sticky situation. Katie’s marriage to Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher) has been on the back burner lately on B&B, but it seems that “Thatie” will soon be back on canvas and facing some challenging times. They were married just a few months ago in a whirlwind ceremony.
Of course, part of the reason for the quick wedding was Katie’s custody suit against Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Thorne really pushed for Katie to sue Bill, and he also pushed Katie to marry him before the custody suit was decided. Thorne loved Katie and truly wanted to marry her, but he also wanted to stack the deck in Katie’s favor for the custody case. It was all pretty calculated.
It seems that Katie and Thorne’s marriage has been a happy one so far, but soon something’s going to happen that may call Katie’s commitment to Thorne into question, at least in Thorne’s mind. And it all has to do with Bill.
Bill has been professing for a while now that he’s a changed man. He’s been enjoying a better relationship with his son Will Spencer (Finnegan George), and thankfully Will seems to be much more comfortable being around his dad.
But Thorne remains skeptical about Bill’s whole “changed man” song and dance. Thorne has never liked Bill, and while he knows that Bill will always be Will’s father, deep down he wishes that Bill were just out of the picture altogether.
According to B&B spoilers, Thorne will be rattled when he overhears Will ask Katie whether she still loves Bill. Katie will probably handle the question delicately, explaining that a part of her will always love Bill, but that she is now in love with Thorne. It will be an innocent question from Will, but Katie’s admission that she still loves Bill will upset Thorne.
Could this signal some impending marital problems for Katie and Thorne? Thorne may start to reconsider the relationship, especially since the whole situation hasn’t turned out the way Thorne initially envisioned it. What Thorne really wanted was to be a replacement dad for Will, but Bill has seen to it that this never became a reality.
Plus, there’s the fact that Ingo Rademacher, who portrays Thorne, is leaving B&B. There have been no rumblings of a recast, so it seems that Thorne may be leaving Los Angeles. It certainly looks like we may be headed for a Thatie split.
