The first knockout tonight is Team John’s Marybeth Byrd singing “All I Ask,” by Adele vs. Preston C Howell singing “The Way You Look Tonight,” by Frank Sinatra.

Judges Comments: Gwen: “That was so good. Preston, you are literally a phenomenon, it’s hard to believe that you are fifteen, today was my favorite for your stage presence. Marybeth, you look so cool, I heard things in your voice that I didn’t recognize, I think your style is coming our and I like that, I thought you did a great job.” Kelly: “You both did really well, and that Adele song is a really hard song to sing, and I have not heard that power from you yet Marybeth, that was very smart and strategic, I loved it.” Blake: “I feel like you have shown that you can croon any song from a different world. Marybeth, I felt like you took a lot of nerve to sing an Adele song.” John: “I just love both of you, you both stepped up to the plate. Preston this is my favorite performance of yours, the way you winked at the audience, flirted with them, it was smooth. Marybeth, you are an exceptionally talented vocalist.”

John chooses Marybeth as the winner of this knockout.

The next knockout is Team Blake’s Ricky Duran is singing “So High” by John Legend vs. Zach Bridges singing “The Dance” by Garth Brooks.

Judges Comments: John: “Ricky you sang my song and you sang it really beautifully, it was thrilling to hear you hit those high notes. Zach the quality of your tone is so enjoyable to listen to, but I do think that Ricky gave a more powerful performance.” Gwen: “Ricky the fact that you can sing like that, my jaw was on the floor, you can do any genre. Zach your voice has a storytelling sound to it and now that I am country, I love it.” Kelly: “Ricky the last two-thirds of that song I thought was the finale. Zach, you didn’t stay at all from Garth Brooks’ version.” Blake: “Both of you laid it out there and I appreciate that.”

Blake chooses Ricky as the winner of this knockout.

The next knockout is Team Kelly’s Damali singing “Sober,” by Dami Lovato vs. Gracee Shriver singing “Leave The Pieces,” by the Dixie Chicks.

Judges Comments: Blake: “Damali, Kelly was the only person that turned around for you and you are starting to step into your moment at the right time. I listened to the lyrics and that is a testament to you, good job. Gracee, you know how I feel about you, your voice is so unique, your tone is incredible and I am a huge fan.” John: “Damali I felt like the storytelling really connected, so congratulations on that. Gracee I love the yodels and I would pick you for this.” Gwen: “Damali your performance, I have been more impressed than ever with you. Gracee you have such an original sound. Damali took it to another level for me, but you are both so talented.” Kelly: “You are both really good. Damali you have this Annie Lennox for me. Gracee you are so original. You were both fantastic and this was hard for me.”

Kelly chooses Damali as the winner of this knockout.

Blake steals Gracee, she is not going anywhere.
