The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Eileen Davidson Back to Y&R – More Drama Ahead for Ashley

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Eileen Davidson is headed back to the CBS soap as Ashley Abbott. When Davidson left the show in October 2018, Y&R fans were certainly sad to see her go. Davidson suggested she might pop up occasionally for a party or family gathering, but she didn’t offer much hope for lots of appearances.

However, Davidson took some time off and now seems more willing to get back in the action. Although we’re not seeing as much Ashley as we’d would like, we’re definitely seeing more of her than we expected. It was nice to have Ashley as part of the exit story for Kerry Johnson aka Dominique Caroll (Alice Hunter). Ash was also around for Society’s opening and Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) funeral.

There have been some other business-related popups along the way, which are always fun. Now we’ve got some Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) drama that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will need to be on hand for. On Thursday’s Y&R episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) mentions that he’s summoned Ashley. The Abbotts plan to move Dina to a facility, so they need all hands on deck.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley will fly home soon to help sort things out. Back when Dina was first diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Jack assured Ashley he could handle it. He hoped to take care of everything and keep Dina at home. Sadly, Dina’s decline is putting her safety at risk. Jack can’t let Dina hurt herself or anyone else, so this facility move is for the best.

Of course, the transition will be difficult for Dina. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Dina will lash out and perhaps feel abandoned in some ways. It’ll be a tough ordeal for the Abbott clan, but Jack, Ashley and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will band together. They’ll support one another as they try to get Dina over this hurdle.

Y&R buzz suggests some corporate chaos could be looming, too. Jack and Ashley are stuck in an ongoing battle, but it looks like they may put it on hold to deal with a different threat. Could Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) strike Jabot – perhaps with a little help from his new ally, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni)? All roads lead to Adam right now, so we wouldn’t be surprised if he betrays Jack.

Regardless, it’s great that Ashley will remain involved in some important stories. We’ll give you updates as other Y&R news comes in. Stay tuned to the CBS soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news.
