The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) recently decided to show one costar some love. Braeden stays active on Twitter and enjoys engaging with his loyal fans. He also likes sharing pictures and fun commentary, so he’s worth a follow for sure.
Braeden had some kind words for Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) – and they lined up with how many Y&R viewers are feeling. We could always use more Ashley on The Young and the Restless! Braeden posted a sweet pic of himself standing next to Davidson on set. He tweeted, “Miss her on the show !!”
Of course, Davidson isn’t completely gone. She had an official exit last year, but things have changed since then. Davidson seems open to continuing Ashley’s story and making her part of the canvas again. That doesn’t mean Ashley will be around all the time, but there are certainly more story opportunities thanks to the Jabot-My Beauty merger.
Now that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is suddenly taking a step back from the company, that could spark serious concerns for Ashley. Can Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) really rise to the challenge? He’ll be serving as interim CEO for a while, but Ash may have her doubts about his abilities. There’ll be some good ways for Ashley to butt in and try to take charge.
The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm Ashley will indeed pop up more this fall. She’ll fly in from Paris as often as she can to deal with corporate chaos as well as family drama. If Victor’s health takes a turn for the worse, Ashley will want to be there for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). She’ll need her mom as Victor’s war with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) spirals out of control.
It’s great that Y&R intends to keep Ashley around, but we can still miss having her in GC every week. Braeden definitely seems to miss working with Davidson on a regular basis. Plenty of fans piped up in agreement with Braeden’s tweet of support. Braeden and Davidson are daytime legends at this point, so it’s nice to see them in this photo together – and it’s nice to see Braeden spreading some love!
