The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, October 25, teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will track down Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and deliver a request. He’ll bring Sharon up to speed on Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) new living arrangements and urge her to keep working with him. Sharon won’t think that’s a good idea since it’d put her too close to Adam, and she could face more manipulation.
Adam won’t think Sharon should take any of this out on Connor. As Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) appears and notices them talking, Adam will suggest he hopes Sharon changes her mind. Afterward, Rey will want the scoop on Sharon’s chat with Adam. She’ll fill Rey in on what Adam wanted and note that she turned him away.
Rey will suggest Sharon should reconsider for Connor’s sake. He won’t mind if Sharon’s in Adam’s orbit again, but he’ll wonder if she’s bothered by it. Rey will suggest Sharon sees Adam for who he really is now. He’ll push Sharon to help Connor through his crisis, so Sharon will call Adam and let him know she’s on board.
At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) house, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will be distraught after she spots Connor’s videogame controller. She’ll open up to Nick about her pain and try to trust that she’s putting Connor first. Chelsea will bring up visitation and how she’s going to discuss it with Adam later. She’ll confess she feels nervous about seeing her own son.
Afterward, Chelsea will talk to Adam at his penthouse. They’ll address that it’ll take time to regain Connor’s trust and acknowledge that Connor needs them both. Adam will also ask for a favor from his ex. He’ll assure Chelsea that she can visit Connor anytime, but he won’t want her to mention taking Connor back to Nick’s.
Adam will argue that he doesn’t want Connor to feel yanked around, so Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will grant his request. However, she’ll refuse to let anything interfere with the bond she has with her son. At Nick’s place again, Chelsea will note that Connor doesn’t want to come back there. She’ll admit she promised Connor wouldn’t have to, but Nick will feel like Adam’s brainwashed the kid.
At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he’ll greet Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) with a hug and provide updates on all the will drama. Devon will mention that the lawyer handling the case looks just like Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Talk will turn to Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard), who’s been known to run scams in the past. Devon won’t know what he should do, but Lily will think he just has to follow his heart.
Over with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), she’ll get on the phone and declare that this ends today. One way or another, Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will drama will be resolved. Back with Devon, he’ll let Cane and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) in along with Amanda. Lily will be so stunned by Amanda’s face that she shatters a glass on the floor.
Next, Devon will point out that he’s decided he can do one of two things: give the money to Cane or give it to charity. He’ll feel like Hamilton-Winters can stand on his own as a company now, but he’ll be willing to hand everything else over to Cane. Since this is what Katherine wanted, Devon will agree to honor her wishes.
Amanda will be instructed to draw up the papers, so Jill will suggest Katherine and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) would be proud of Devon. Cane will offer his gratitude, but Devon still won’t understand why Katherine would pick him. At Society later, Cane will discuss his newfound fortune with Lily. He’ll get that Devon doesn’t trust him, but he’ll make it clear the twins will be taken care of.
Cane will wonder if Lily’s willing to stay in town and help him navigate things, but she’ll have a job to get back to. Lily will ultimately bid Cane farewell and head out. Next, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jill will call with a shocker. An emblem on the “original” papers will remind Jill of one from her travels with Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). Jill will suspect this is just the kind of con Colin would run!
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will offer Amanda an apology. He’ll take back the harsh things he said since that’s not the kind of man he is. Amanda will believe that since Devon was willing to give up the money. They’ll shake hands before Amanda suggests Neil has a lot to be proud of.
Amanda will be ready to say goodbye to Genoa City, but she’ll find a reason to stick around next week, October 28 to November 1. We’ll keep you posted as other Y&R news comes in.
